Nomy mum was spoken to like a piece of scum in asda recently while queuing for a free item, over 10 complaints to asda and not a single apology. she was not rude but the customer services girl shouted at her, told her to get in the queue properly (even though she was), mum was almost in tears. for a big concern, very poor customer services, beware !
i was treated like a shoplifter when i bought some bath stuff on special (the signs were for the correct products but not with the 30% extra free in bottle - not that that should make a difference). when charged too much pointed out sign and treated very poorly. got a blank letter with a 10% off next purchase in store voucher. anyone gets that anyway, let alone being insulted by a manager when it was their mistake ! was going to send it back with a letter but decided not worth the stamp. needless to say not shopped there again.A happy wife, and mum to 2 lovely little boys :j0 -
NoHi,
I've had loads of problems with Orange because of bad customer service & never heard anything back. Does anyone have an address for them other than the PO box one? and is it worth writing to them again?Shadia0 -
No - but it should be moved to another boardSubway - had a bad experience with them and they sent me two vouchers for free 6" subs. The meatballs were cold, the cookie was hot and the idiot behind the counter didn't know how to give student discount, and so mumbled something about the meal being already discounted (which I know was a lie as it's only the Sub Of The Day they can't discount on).
The voucher states which stores you can use them in, so I'll be using them in the new one (which gives more salad and is generally better)."Beautiful young people are accidents of nature, But beautiful old people are works of art."

Only a small victory...
I buy tuna pasta salads from Asda but the fork was always at the bottom and covered in tuna which meant I always ended up with fishy fingers!
I complained once and got a £3 gift card but they said they can't do a lot without a product code.
When I gave them the code (I emailed the person who replied previously) they could take action and now the fork seems to be at the top.
How sad am I!? :rolleyes:0 -
NoI complained to Pringles via email the other day as i bought a tub and although the seal was on fine the pringles were all stale and disgusting.
Yuck!

I had a problem with Asda a few years ago. I have a paper driving license and was asked for id for drink ( I was about 24 at the time). The lady then accused me of stealing my own driving license. I was embarrassed and humiliated and was treat like a shoplifter. I complained to the manager and was just asked to leave the store. I wrote to the headoffice, but no reply.0 -

I wrote to ASDA Head Office after my Husband drank Budweiser which was 9 months out of date which we had purchased from the store the night before...no reply for me either. It seems complaints to ASDA Head Office just disappear.0 -
Well done everyone on your successes, my only recent experience of complaining has been a waste of time.
My parents bought a diswasher from Currys ad paid for installation. When it arrived it was damaged so driver took it back to store. Dad phoned to rearrange delivery and was told the order had been cancelled and that he would have to come back to store to reorder. He said that wasn't convenient and was told a manager would phone him back.
3 days later a manager finally rang back to say the order hadn't been cancelled and a new dishwasher was on its way. When it arrived the driver said that he wasn't qualified to install the dishwasher. Dad pointed out that he had paid for installation, driver was apologetic but said there was nothing he could do.
Dad wrote to Currys to complain. Was told that out of the £15 he paid for delivery, £8 covered installation so we could have an £8 refund. The total cost of our dishwasher + delivery was over £330, so £8 was just an insult. Plus we had to return to store to actually get the refund!
Dad wrote a second time but no reply.
After all the messing around they gave us, all we got was £8 - unbeleivable! Total debt £21,000 :eek:Weight loss to date - 2 st, 2lb:j0 -
I recently had to send my marriage certificate off to Legal & General. When it was returned they had 'hole punched' it. Half way down the letter there was one line about 'accepting their apologies' but that was all.
I shot a letter off to them quickly saying how annoyed and upset I was, how i would expect better service from them etc etc.
Three days later a letter arrived back full of apologies and an offer of £250 compensation.
Obviously I accepted the moneybut to be honest a proper apology and an offer to pay for a new certificate to begin would have been enough for me.
