  • Found a cigerette butt in a pack of tights bought from Asda which had gotten the bottom pair of cream tights dirty (pack of three) took the pair back for replacement and the assistant stated in a very rude tone 'You are only getting one pair back' and proceeded to open a pack of three and handed us one pair. We didn't expect a new pack of three but complained about how rude she was. Head office sent an apology letter and £10.00 gift voucher!!
I will be debt free and proud

  • Just thought I'd tell you my lovely experience. After reading this thread I decided to write to Lush about a bit of a reaction I'd had to a face pack, nothing serious, just went all blotchy and itchy so I wrote and said basically here is what happened, just thought I'd let you know I'm not making a fuss, I just want you to know that this particular product isn't great for sensitive skin.
Anywho, today a lovely package arrived with £17.45 worth of lovely products inside and a lovely letter saying we think you might be sensitive to this ingredient so try and avoid it, try this instead it is probably more suited to you.
So impressed by them, loved them before, adore them now!

i have always complained about bad service and have always had a good respose. i complained to pets at home because i made 4 trips to the shop for kitten milk only to be told they were out of stock and would be in the following day. on the last occaision the lad just went to the shelf i had already checked and said no stock, when i asked for the head office phone number, he told me to look it up on the web. When i spoke to the head office i was told they had 149 in stock. nice lady sent me £15 vouchers.
i also tell companies when i get good service :T

I complained recently to Swizzels Matlow's after buying a big £10 tub full of sweets, for myself and the trick or treaters tomorrow.

On the labe it said it included blackcurrent lollypops and cola fizzies and some other stuff, on opening I found no blackcurrent lollypops, all orange and strawberry, and no cola fizzies, all lemon (hate lemon) and no Mr Chews. Which are my favourite.

I wrote them a letter to them (well I used their email form) and they sent my case to quality control and about 3 days later I recieved 3 big bags of sweets, containing blackcurrent lollypops, cola fizzies, drumsticks, double lollies and refreshers. The parcel was so big it wouldn't fit through the letter box. Wasn't expecting them to send me loads of sweets, was just writing to inform them of the problem.

I complained to Sainsbury's about some frozen chips I bought that were so bad I had to throw them away. They sent me a £5 voucher :T

This isn't a complaint, but I wrote to Next to make a suggestion of how I felt they could improve and they sent me a £25 voucher :D
    :p Proud to be a MoneySaver! :p
  • We got £3500 back from B&Q after they made a complete mess of fitting our new kitchen. The whole thing was going to cost £6,500 so we were delighted as they had to put it right too!

Has anyone complained to Parcelforce before? I've had nothing but problems from them..

First I ordered from thorntons, was told they'd delivered (they didn't), was told the item was again left outside my flat (it wasnt...you can't gain access without a code).

Secondly I had an aircon machine ordered, was told it would be delivered on X day it never arrived...I wasn't called to be told. Spent many hours added up on the phone tracing it to be told it was a little over weight so they weren't delivering it.

ARE THEY NOT A PARCEL COMPANY? Or are they a feather carrying company !?

And thirdly I had another parcel due, was told it would be here Tuesday...nothing...Wednesday ...nothing I called they said it'll be there by 4pm (they repeated this again yesterday and this morning).

I was also told inbetween that, that it was on the lorry coming over to me...

I've just spoken to them and the man said it's still in the Depot because it was on the wrong shelf!

He then said... I'll send it out tomorrow, and waive the £12 fee!

    WAIVE<-- lol is he serious?

Anyway I'm really angry incase you couldn't tell...I'm not quite sure where to complain to ParcelForce will probably ignore me.

On top of all this I had an extremely rude Customer Service Rep yesterday shouting at me saying I couldnt have it redelivered...and I would cost her £3000?!

Any advice? :) apart from headbutting a wall and sending off for a free stress reliever lol

    WHAT A NIGHTMARE!!

THEY'RE NOT CALLED PARCEL FARCE FOR NOTHING!!

I bought a bottle of Tobermorey Single Malt Whiskyfrom Morrisons Supermarket recently and when I was half way through the bottle somehow the cork split in two and fell into the whisky :rolleyes2:

Morrisons said it was a manufacturing defect and would be better to contact the company concerned. Burns Steward Distilleries Ltd asked for the production number and apologised for my inconvenience and sent me a NEW BOTTLE :T  :T

    What a Result.
