I complained to starbucks, after me and my 10 year old daughter went in to rest and have a drink after a good shop, i got my drink straight off and went to get us a table and my daughter stood waiting for her drink, only to be totaly ignored by staff standing and chatting so after 5 minutes i went and asked were her drink was and got a snippish answer like it is being done , even tho other grown ups had been served with the same drink. so i wrote in and told them what had happened and got a lovely letter back saying it would be taken up with the particular brance and sorry this had happened and they enclosed 5 vouchers for drinks.

Has anyone complained to Parcelforce before? I've had nothing but problems from them..

First I ordered from thorntons, was told they'd delivered (they didn't), was told the item was again left outside my flat (it wasnt...you can't gain access without a code).

Secondly I had an aircon machine ordered, was told it would be delivered on X day it never arrived...I wasn't called to be told. Spent many hours added up on the phone tracing it to be told it was a little over weight so they weren't delivering it.

ARE THEY NOT A PARCEL COMPANY? Or are they a feather carrying company !?

And thirdly I had another parcel due, was told it would be here Tuesday...nothing...Wednesday ...nothing I called they said it'll be there by 4pm (they repeated this again yesterday and this morning).

I was also told inbetween that, that it was on the lorry coming over to me...

I've just spoken to them and the man said it's still in the Depot because it was on the wrong shelf!

He then said... I'll send it out tomorrow, and waive the £12 fee!

WAIVE<-- lol is he serious?

Anyway I'm really angry incase you couldn't tell...I'm not quite sure where to complain to ParcelForce will probably ignore me.

On top of all this I had an extremely rude Customer Service Rep yesterday shouting at me saying I couldnt have it redelivered...and I would cost her £3000?!



Any advice? apart from headbutting a wall and sending off for a free stress reliever lol

I complained to Huggies that there size 5 nappies didn't fit my son very well, even though he was well within the weight guide on the pack- they sent me £9 worth of vouchers.

We all had luch at Pizza Hut today (family of 5) and it cost £9.90- I used £20 worth of vouchers they sent after I complained about bad service on a previous visit.

Both times I complained via email.

I'm new (only my 2nd post)
I signed up for a Free Trial of tesco DVD but part way through changed the numger of dvds I wanted to rent. Apparently this "changed the terms" and they charged me £7.47 immediately! I wrote a polite but firm email after reading all these success stories and they agreed to refund me.

Next we complained to our loan insurance co after they refused to pay any more instalments :eek: (my OH is a police officer who was retired due to serious injury whilst helping someone who'd been stabbed) leaving us in a dire situation. After 2 calls to them a very nice lady looked into our case to see if they could help and discovered although they couldn't continue they had been underpaying for 5YEARS!! Seemingly the £3900 outstanding balance is being reduced to £218!!:T :j :T :j I can't believe it!!!! I hope I'm not dreaming!

Thanks everyone for giving me the confidence to challenge their rules!

i have been known to have a moan to companies in the past when the service has been REALLY bad but dont do it very often, id be sat here all day every day if i wrote off every time someone or a product P'd me off lol
and i can help but lmao at those of you who complain about the kit-kats lol, god i LOVE it when i get a kit-kat like that and tbh that is bordering on the line of the people who are making complaints just for the free stuff

but i would like to know what happens with the ELC compaint as i have complained about the fact that their birthday club is misleading and false advertising as neither my two nor any of my friends children have ever received a present in the 2/3 years its been going - strange huh, more like sign up to our club so we can bombard you with emails and send you endless amounts of rubbish for nothing in return
just emailed them yesterday so im not expecting anything back quite yet

but i will say i do always write off or find a manager when i have come accross an exceptional member of staff/product.... doesn't happen very often though

I have received little gifts for both my kids for the past two years on their birthday. A magnetic fishing game last time if I remember correctly for when my daughter turned two.

I've had a couple of successes.
I joined Books for Children and meet all the commitments of the membership, but they kept sending me books, I tried the customer service but kept getting the run around. I wrote to the CEO of the company and managed to get my account canceled and full refund of everything that I had bought.

Parcelforce delivered a parcel and left it outside my house and posted a card through my letterbox to say so. When I got home parcel was not there. I rang up the company that I had ordered from and they said parcelforce have delivered the parcel to me and it had been signed for by me. I told them I had a copy of the card through my door to say that they had left it outside. They refunded me back the cost of the product and said that they would get the money back off parcelforce.

Mango book club had introductory offer, when they delivered the books they threw them over the back fence. 1 book was damaged I rang them and they said they would cancel my membership and give me the books for free.
