Complaint Letter Successes

Hi i've been reading the last few pages on this thread and I never really give it a thought to complain, but the other day whilst feeding my dogs on dry biscuits I was shocked to find a dead mouse had falling out the bag!!
Does anyone think this would be worth writting a letter about? At the time felt more sorry for the mouse than the need to write to them.
TIA0 -

Absolutely! Good God, that is disgusting! I hope you didn't let your dog continue to eat the biscuits!0 -

On the labe it said it included blackcurrent lollypops and cola fizzies and some other stuff, on opening I found no blackcurrent lollypops, all orange and strawberry, and no cola fizzies, all lemon (hate lemon) and no Mr Chews. Which are my favourite.
I wrote them a letter to them (well I used their email form) and they sent my case to quality control and about 3 days later I recieved 3 big bags of sweets, containing blackcurrent lollypops, cola fizzies, drumsticks, double lollies and refreshers. The parcel was so big it wouldn't fit through the letter box. Wasn't expecting them to send me loads of sweets, was just writing to inform them of the problem.
This happened to me as well. Bought two big bags of variety mix and one bag contained nearly all little fizzy packs of sweets. Emailed them and about a week later, received 2 big bags of sweets. If at first you don't succeed ........Alternative autism therapies should be free!!

Recently purchased some goods to be delivered by DHL. Been almost 3 weeks since I ordered them and no sign of parcel. Contacted DHL who said it would appear that my parcel has 'gone missing'. A few hours later I recieve a call to confirm that it has indeed disappeared.
The company I purchased from have been great. They are sending out a replacement parcel ASAP. So all is well.
But I am wondering is it worth trying to persue a compensation claim from DHL themselves? I knowI will get my parcel in the end, but several weeks late and much later than my niece's birthday! (It being her present that was in the parcel)!
Any suggestions?0 -
Has anyone complained to Parcelforce before? I've had nothing but problems from them..
First I ordered from thorntons, was told they'd delivered (they didn't), was told the item was again left outside my flat (it wasnt...you can't gain access without a code).
Secondly I had an aircon machine ordered, was told it would be delivered on X day it never arrived...I wasn't called to be told. Spent many hours added up on the phone tracing it to be told it was a little over weight so they weren't delivering it.
ARE THEY NOT A PARCEL COMPANY? Or are they a feather carrying company !?
And thirdly I had another parcel due, was told it would be here Tuesday...nothing...Wednesday ...nothing I called they said it'll be there by 4pm (they repeated this again yesterday and this morning).
I was also told inbetween that, that it was on the lorry coming over to me...
I've just spoken to them and the man said it's still in the Depot because it was on the wrong shelf!
He then said... I'll send it out tomorrow, and waive the £12 fee!
WAIVE<-- lol is he serious?
Anyway I'm really angry incase you couldn't tell...I'm not quite sure where to complain to ParcelForce will probably ignore me.
On top of all this I had an extremely rude Customer Service Rep yesterday shouting at me saying I couldnt have it redelivered...and I would cost her £3000?!
Any advice?apart from headbutting a wall and sending off for a free stress reliever lol
This is awful. Let us know how you get on0 -
I complained to Fat Face about a pair of sandals I bought which broke after a week of wearing them. Just received a £30 gift voucher!0

I complained by letter to Alton Towers regarding a chicken burger meal I had back in a August during a visit to the theme park.
The chicken was raw in the middle, and when I complained at the time the staff didn't even apologise and just re-cooked the same chicken I had been served and handed it back!
I have today received a cheque for £9 (meal cost £3) and 4 free admission tickets to Alton Towers valid until the end of 2008!
It's taken a couple of months to receive a response and I'd totally forgotten about it, but I think it's a really great response!0 -
NoBought a computer off Dell about 2.5 years ago, just lately the LCD screen started to go weird, sometimes it would work, sometimes it wouldn't. I emailed Dell and their customer services called me, but by that time it had self-corrected. However, it started going again. I emailed them again and Vipin (the customer services chap) called me again, and they are sending me a new screen!! It didn't even cost me a phone call! What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0
