NoJust had a cheque from Nestle for £6. We had bought a pack of KitKats. The wafer in the middle contained some very hard pieces which were difficult to chew (although me being a martyr managed to struggle on and eat them all)!0

hiya,
i emailed boots last week regarding their new packaging on the cloth baby soft wipes. The new packets keep ripping ,after you take a couple of wipes out ,then you have got to transfer them to a box to stop them soaking everything.
Today i have received an apologetic reply and a note to say they will credit my advantage card with 1000 points:D
very happy,thankyou Boots Customer Services0 -

we visited legolad at the weekend it was ok all but one member of staff who i asked if i could do a baby wap with my husband so we could both go on the ride with the children ( i always miss out on teh rides as i have to stay with the baby ) my husband joined the cue so was not cue jumping after 1and a half hours of cueing i was told we could not do a baby swap as the children would get to go on the ride twice but i could leave the brat with them and go on teh ride with my husband and 2 other children as if i am goin to leave my baby with some one that calles him a brat, i asked to see the ride manager and he told me to f off my husband wanted to punch him so was not a very good day for me but the kids liked it so iam asked should i send a complaint in or not and if yes should i email or post letter to them.
any advice would be very helpful
Havn't read the whole thread but just read your post and that sounds terrible. The staff's behaviour is unnacceptable and I would defo complain.
I would probably do this by posting a complaint letter with all the details of what happened to you and the times so they are able to identify the member of staff. Good luck. x0 -
NoI emailed Dairy Crest after a tub of Clover started to smell like sick  (it was well within its use by date). They asked me to send it back to them, but this was before I started reading this thread so didn't think to keep the packaging. I told them that I'd thrown it away, and that I was sorry not to be able to help them with their investigation. About a week later I got a voucher for a new tub and a cheque for £5, inside a really nice letter. Well impressed with the customer service!Nobody I'd rather be0

I would definatly write in!!I worked at Legoland last summer, and any member of staff was behaving like this shouldn't be working there...if you can remember which ride it was, and roughly what time you were there the area managers can identify which member of staff it was quite easily. Also parent swaps ARE allowed, and although parents are more than welcome to leave children with staff its only if they're completly happy and comfortable to do so. It doesn't matter whether you email or post, emails would certaintly get there quicker, but both are taken seriously. Hope that helps!0 -
No - but it should be moved to another boardHad a bit of trouble with BBC Olive Magazine recently, I signed up for the 3 issues for £1 offer and before I'd received my first issue they debited my account the full £13 subscription.
Called them up and they said the request had gone through incorrectly, and they would refund the money by cheque and my first issue would be free of charge and the next 3 would be £1 as agreed.
Since then they have reversed the DD but I think they are still sending me a cheque for £13 too. Is it ethical to keep the cheque they send even though I've already been refunded?
Hiya, i sent B Gas £114.68 by accident year last June and after letters, emails and telephone conversations i was told in Jan 07 that if i join with BG they would find my money quicker. After taking the ladies name and setting up account, i rang enerywatch and complained. They sent me my £114.68 not admition of guilt but as a good will jesture. I then recieved a letter and another cheque for same amount. I rang them to inform them that i appreicated the good will jesture and i had recieved my money back, they told me that it was an error, i informed them that legally "good will jesture" was a freebie lol!!! So i won lol0 -

Hi
I had a terrible long weekend at a Haven holiday park in March, won't go into details because the list is endless!!!! I would have come back home on the Friday evening but the whole point of me taking the kids away was so that my husband could re-plaster and re-decorate our lounge. When I returned home, I sent them a very long letter listing all the complaints. I received a letter back saying that my complaints were being looked into. After 10 days, I rang their customer services and got through to somebody who gave me the name of the person dealing with my complaint. I rang them and was told that she had looked into in and the most she could offer by way of compensation was a credit note for a half price holiday!! She said the reason for this was because I had stayed the 3 nights!!! I explained that I had no alternative. After a very brief conversation, I asked for the name of her superior, which she gave me. I informed her that I would be taking this further. No sooner had I put the phone down, she rang me back and offered me half my money back!!! I accepted this and was paid out within 10 days.
My advice is to do the same, and stand your ground, if the accommodation and service was not up to standard, let them know it!
HTHIf at first you don't succeed ........Alternative autism therapies should be free!!

I sent a polite letter to Procter & Gamble explaining that 3 of the 10 silicone implant type washing liquid bags were burst when i opened the box. I pointed out that it wouldn't put me off buying them again but thought in the interests of their own Quality Control they may wish to know about it.
Got a very nice letter 2 weeks later with a voucher for £5.00 off next purchases of Bold.
Not a massive amount but a success of sorts.Hello again0 -
On a Friday we do our shopping and we usually get Asda's own mince, and we alsways use it on the Satuarday so dont bother freezing it just pop it in the fridge, well the last twice we have done this and gone to use it on the Saturday it has turned brown and has clearly gone off, we usually just bin it, but im actually getting fed up with it now, it only costs 2.19 but its not the point as its never by it sell by date when it happens.
What do you guys think, do you think I shoudl write to Asda and complain about it?
Thanks0 -
