Hey I'm hopinh someone can help as I have already sent a couple of emails to them, this is my situation...

My girlfriend and I were coming back from a music festival that was held in the California dessert at the end of April called Coachella, the conditions we had to endure were appauling and I am looking for some sort of compensation as it ruined 2 days (out of 3) of our holiday in L.A. This trip was my 21st birthday present and you can imagine how excited we were to see the Hollywood sign and Universal Studios. We had booked and paid for 2 days at Universal Studios but because of Greyhound only made it to one and did not get to see the Hollywood sign. This was our experience at Greyhound:
• · Booked our tickets in advance for departure at 11.00am to get from Indio to LA
• · No buses turned up
• · Queue overflowing onto street
• · Even though there were no buses turning up the clerk just kept selling tickets
• · The queue went outside and round the corner
• · I had to sit in 39 degrees heat with no shade for 5 hours
• · Clerk could not care less and I kept saying to him that I did not want to get into downtown LA too late as it’s far too dangerous.
• · I had an opportunity to get alternate transport early on but he assured me that there would be a bus coming in the next hour. I missed my opportunity.
• · There was no AC in the bus station.
• · There were no toilets available for men. (have photos)
• · The available urinals were overflowing with urine. (have photos)
• · Conditions were so bad that 2 news crews came by to interview us, I was interviewed once.
• · There was only over priced chicken burgers on sale in the shop. Everything else had sold out.
• · The queue shortened slowly and we finally left at 10.30pm and arrived in L.A. at about 1am
• · On arrival my girlfriend went into the toilet in Greyhound bus station and there was a woman (I’m assuming homeless) half naked in a toilet cubicle with the door open masturbating.
• · I have honestly never been so scared, we did not have enough money to get a taxi so we had to wait on a bus that was very infrequent at that time of night.
• · We were threatened 3 times and followed for the whole 2 hours we had to wait.
• · Got back to our hostel at 4am.
· I have never been so angry at a company. I have never complained about a company in my life but the sheer disregard for everyone involved is inexcusable.

Any suggestions? :s

• I have recently complained to Thorpe Park after a horrendous day there for my sons birthday, 18000 school children running amok, not enough staff to deal with them, lots of rides not open, queues of over 3 hours and fast trak queues of over an hour after paying extra, resulted in my younger 2 (9 and 12) being bored all day and the older 4 (my son and his friends) were threatened by a group after they complained about them smoking in the queue.
Thorpe park responded by offering 10 free fast trak passes, this day cost over £400 with entry and fast traks and lunch, I am not sure whether to be insulted or pleased. I don't really want to pay to take 10 there again, thats for sure!

Well i have come back today and faced the same problems virtually!!!

Complained there and was given free tickets to go again:confused: Not sure i want to after today's events!! Have emailed merlin who own them and see what they say

Will keep you informed
 I NEED TO CHANGE MY BAD LUCK RUN!!!!

I complained about the lack of products on the shelves at our local Sainsbury on Sunday afternoons. I told them if they can't keep the shelves full on sundays they shouldn't open! I told them I was considering going back to tescos! I recieved a personal email and the name of the store manager so I could contact him should it happen again. Surprisingly they admitted there had been problems with stock at this time and offered me a £5 voucher! Actually I haven't received it yet! I'll have to get onto it.
I have this problem EVERY Sunday at my Sainsburys - it's so annoying. Any time after lunch and there is no point going - nothing is left. :(

It was cold food
They had no onions or peppers for a vege pizza
It was freezing in 2 restaurants we went to, so cold that the kids had to wear coats just to keep warm - my baby was turning blue!
2 desserts had blocks of ice in the middle
One portion of dessert (Banoffe pie) was 1 tiny spoonful & that was it
Took them over 5 minutes from placing order for them to decide they had no stock of some of the items
Took over 30 minutes from us finishing starter to the pizzas coming out
We had 2 very tired & ratty kids by the time they evetually sorted it all out.

They sent £20 for a complaint about one place we went to, I emailed about 2 in total, when I got no reply about the 2nd place I emailed again. They then replied to the original email sending £20 & again to the follow up sending a further £15.

That's the gist of it anyway

Had a bit of trouble with BBC Olive Magazine recently, I signed up for the 3 issues for £1 offer and before I'd received my first issue they debited my account the full £13 subscription.

Called them up and they said the request had gone through incorrectly, and they would refund the money by cheque and my first issue would be free of charge and the next 3 would be £1 as agreed.

Since then they have reversed the DD but I think they are still sending me a cheque for £13 too. Is it ethical to keep the cheque they send even though I've already been refunded?

Hey! Last week I emailed Radox (The shower gel people) as I'd bought a bottle of shower gel from Sainsbury's and on the way home it had leaked over my shopping. Anyway, a couple of days after I got an email from them which was really apologetic and then the day after that I received a letter in the post with £10 worth of vouchers attached
Yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :-)
