    here are mine:D

i won a voucher with walkers crisps for a free curry (or something like that) but it turned out the nearest participating curry house was over 200 miles away so they sent me about £10 in vouchers

i wrote to pringles cos every time a got a jar of sauce (to go with the pringles dippers) i could never open it (by the way my complaint letters are alway quite fun) they sent me £12 in vouchers, so i bought some more pringle and dippers and still couldn't open them! ha ha, was so grateful i didn;t want to complain again, maybe i'm just weak?

i wrote to wrigleys to tell them how fab their new gum was (the black airwaves/liquorice flavour) and how i'd love to see some cinimon flavour gum and they sent me a fancy box with about 12 packs in! i wasn;t expecting that!
    totally a tog!:D

Hi there, was hoping someone could help me. I have a set of GHDs which are 2 years old, and they actually set alight on saturday, with flames coming out of the cable. Has anyone else had this problem, or ever complained to GHD before.
    Many Thanks

You won't have any trouble complaining about your GHD product, click here > BBC Watchdog Report on GHD products

I wouldn't touch 'em with a bargepole meself, just going on all the trouble they've had.
    :)
  • I've had £10 Mars vouchers for an advent calendar where the chocs went off before Christmas...
My sister had 5 boxes of Shrek Christmas Crackers because she complained that the toy she won in one was a Simpsons toy not a Shrek toy (it was Bart Simpson instead of Donkey.. she was seriously not happy.. and over 20 at the time!!)
There's probably more, but i can't remember what!
I'm complaining to Next soon as the jeans I bought last month have begun to come unstitched...

My straightners broke when they were not long out of their one year guarantee. I sent them back to GHD (the address is here: https://www.ghdhair.com) with a letter explaining the problem, mentioning the Sale of Goods act (http://www.bbc.co.uk/consumer/guides_to/law_goods.shtml) and politely telling them I expected the straighteners to be repaired or replaced. I got a brand new pair about a week later. :D

Hi- We had a glass coffee pot explode after my son's Christening and coffee went all over people and furniture. We wrote, more concerned that it didn't happen to others than to get stuff, and ended up with assurance that our suggestions would be passed on to the right committee as well as a fancy steel walled coffee pot and a Bodum Granos coffee maker.

Since the incident, I have heard of lots of poeple who have had exploding coffee pots- if it does happen, save the bits, send them in with pictures, and write!!
  • I have recently complained to Thorpe Park after a horrendous day there for my sons birthday, 18000 school children running amok, not enough staff to deal with them, lots of rides not open, queues of over 3 hours and fast trak queues of over an hour after paying extra, resulted in my younger 2 (9 and 12) being bored all day and the older 4 (my son and his friends) were threatened by a group after they complained about them smoking in the queue.
Thorpe park responded by offering 10 free fast trak passes, this day cost over £400 with entry and fast traks and lunch, I am not sure whether to be insulted or pleased. I don't really want to pay to take 10 there again, thats for sure!
Real men never follow instructions; after all they are just the manufacturer's opinion on how to put something together. :p
  • Does that mean I should complain about our recent trip to Alton Towers. We got stuck on a ride for 20 mins.. luckly for us it was just coming to the end and we were only stuck bout 5 foot off the ground!!!!!

not sure if this is the right place for advice but here goes any way
we visited legolad at the weekend it was ok all but one member of staff who i asked if i could do a baby wap with my husband so we could both go on the ride with the children ( i always miss out on teh rides as i have to stay with the baby ) my husband joined the cue so was not cue jumping after 1and a half hours of cueing i was told we could not do a baby swap as the children would get to go on the ride twice but i could leave the brat with them and go on teh ride with my husband and 2 other children as if i am goin to leave my baby with some one that calles him a brat, i asked to see the ride manager and he told me to f off my husband wanted to punch him so was not a very good day for me but the kids liked it so iam asked should i send a complaint in or not and if yes should i email or post letter to them.
any advice would be very helpful
