I recently wrote to Royal Mail after a parcel I had posted to a friend arrived late and smelling of smoke.
Royal Mail sent me a cheque for the cost of the item... twice!
Its the first time I have sent a complaint letter so was quite pleased that they made a mistake and sent me two cheques.Debt with StepChange - updated total to followProud to be dealing with my debt - DFW no 6570 -
I'm not a massive complainer, but I do like to feed back to companies when I've had good or bad experiences.
Complained to Macaroni Grill when we had to wait nearly an hour and a half for a table, and then when our table was eventually ready they gave it to someone else. - £20 in vouchers.
Complimented PJ Smoothies on their pineapple, banana and coconut smoothie - 2 free smoothie vouchers
Complained to Starbucks after I was given the wrong order and had to wait ages for the correct drink while my friend was sitting alone with her drink going cold - 3 free Starbucks 'any drink' vouchers
Complimented Palmolive on their new Soft and Gentle deodorant range - nice email back
Complained to Boots about the packing of their 'pure nuts and seeds' bar - it's not pure nuts and seeds at all, it's got a chocolate base, with no mention of this on the front and the chocolate can't be seen through the wrapper. - No response. (I don't really want anything from this, I just want them to aknowledge it and make the chocolate more obvious on the packaging! You don't expect to buy poorly-labelled food from a chemist of all places!)By replying to this post you are agreeing to my Terms and Conditions which state that I am correct0 -
I recently have complained to:
Boots.com as an order i placed got lost in their warehouse and then all the items were out of stock... i got a £35 cheque to cover the cost of buying two of the items i really wanted plus 1000 advantage card points.
I complained to Next about the dreadful service i received when placing a sale order which resulted in many phone calls and conflicting advice etc, got a lovely letter back and £10 credited to my account and a £30 gift voucher for store
I have to say many times i've not complained about things but i will always complain now, not just for the money/free items but purely because you should do it when things are wrong.0 -
NoI complained to cadbury's after i bought a dairy milk youghurt with white spots on buttons, that had gone mouldy!
I sent them an email, got a letter in post within 3 days , a 2 page apology, and £5 worth of cadbury's vouchers!
SUCCESS!
The PmiesterWell, I just got into town about an hour ago.
Took a look around, see which way the wind blow.0 -
NoHi,
I had a horrible burger at Burger King yesterday and I want to complain. All I could find was the phone number.
IS THERE A EMAIL?,
Thanks :dance:0 -
NoI always write letters of complaint if something is not right / has gone wrong. Like the otehrs have said, companies do actually appreciate it, even if the feedback is negative.
I have written to Next because mt top faded in the wash even though I washed it as I was meant to....received £20 voucher.
Received £5 voucher from KP because of stale peanuts.
Received £75 from Sainsburys because some jeans I bought from there dyed my trainers dark blue!!!:T
It is always worth taking the time to do it. My husband often laughs at me for doing it but then if anything goes wrong for him, he makes me complain for him!!!0 -

I ont think Burger King will correspond via email. I tried to find it last week - had some out of date vouchers put on my car windscreen :mad:Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:
