lab-dab, you should of took the meal back when you started eating it. I went in mcdonalds with my mum on thursday ( i think). The girl was really nice- we had 2 chicken wraps each, and because t hey took a while she give my mum a small drink for free. Then when the wraps were eventually done, the chicken was cold and my mum took them back. She asked where we were sittin and eventually bought us another 4 chicken wraps which we had orginally ordered + 2 free drinks.

However, on the subject. I dont think mcdonalds have a email address-you could always send them a letter :)
  •:confused: i complained to tescos head office after i brought a laptop and had to take it back as it had broke. the problem was that they were now reduced and the shop assistant said she couldnt put it through at the reduced price. when i spoke to someone at my local extra store she said that she should of refunded my money and gave a new one at the new price . i had my receipt so i wouldnt of thought this would of been a problem.. head office passed it onto the store where i brought the item from but they werent interested... does anybody know where i stand ??:confused::confused:

I don't know whether you've sorted the situation out yet but my manager told me that if someone comes in with a faulty item we have to refund it at the price they say they bought it at with or with out a receipt. If you paid for it on your card you could get a printed statement with the amount on there. I also went in to tescos to have a refund on something without my receipt and they can look back on their computers. If you can tell them the day you bought it on. Hope this helps. p.s didn't actually mean to thank the post.

I found no wafer in my KitKat (which was ok, but still wanted the wafer). I emailed Nestle a week ago and today a letter came with a £2 cheque! :):):D
  • I had a great day out at a Sea Life Centre last year, wrote them a letter saying how great the staff had been and how much we enjoyed the day. A week later i got a letter from the local office saying " glad i enjoyed it, hope i will go again" and complimentary family ticket, and then a week later after that a letter from head office saying "glad i enjoyed it, hope i'll go again" and complimentary family ticket!

Made me think that i don't often thank people for good service - maybe compliments are the way to go.

Not saying don't complain of course - just thought i would share my success.

This is my first ever MSE post by the way!

You don't need snail-mail either. Sent an e-mail to Unilever to complain about a dodgy trigger on their Domestos bleach spray, just received a £2 voucher.

I think it was a fair result, I am happy with their response.

McDonalds never even bother to answer. I had a pubic hair sitting on top of my fillet fish , it was disgusting & i emailed them as i was too embarrased to go to counter at the time and they never ever replied. McDonalds customer service is rubbish!
    well done with the others.
