I've just received a £4.00 cheque from Nestle after I wrote to them to complain about a cracked mug in my Yorkie easter egg/mug combination. Jolly good.

    http://www.westlothian.com/Home/media_centre/newsarchive/1630510

    Registered office:-
Schuh Limited, 1 Neilson Square, Deans Industrial Estate, Livingston, EH548RQ,

    Hope that helps! :)

I am just awaiting a cheque from 'One' trains for £27, after a recent trip to Stansted Mountfitchet, but must admit I am disappointed as this is compensation for 5 people, my elderly parents, my brother, my 7 year old daughter and myself, we went to catch a 15.50 train and we were in good time but when the train pulled into the station the train door would'nt open, we pushed the button a number of times and then went onto another door and that would'nt open and then the train pulled away from the station leaving us stood at the platform both my parents are OAPs and my mother has parkinsons and 7 year old was dying for a wee and there were no toilets on the station, but the person that replied to my letter said the driver of the train said he did'nt know there was a problem, we were travelling back to the Isle of Wight and needed to catch that train for our other connections, so got messed up completely. They also made it sound like I was making the whole thing up but they are sending me a cheque as some kind of goodwill gesture. I am happy for a result but £27 for 5 people does'nt seem a great deal to me. The next train came in half hour later.

Sent a complaint to 'Harrods' about some beef jerky I'd bought for hubby, it was so dry and tough he could'nt even get his teeth into it, they refunded me the cost of the jerky.

Sent a complaint to Tesco about a large bone in a tin of chicken curry and recieved £15 voucher.

'Superdrug' totally awful result, when my daughter was a baby she liked a chocolate pudding baby food they did which if kept in a fridge was supposed to last 3 days but every time we put it in the fridge once opened it just turned into runny poo like slop, so I wrote and told them and enclosed receipt and they said I need to send runny poo slop also. So even though it is in a jar, How do you send it with a guarantee that the jar would'nt break in transaction and leave slop on everyone elses post.

Somerfield are good, if you take a product back with a problem they refund you the cost of the product twice.
