I must be an A grade moaner but if things are bad I complain some of the compaints I have made are:-
Mytravel - Changed the day of our holiday to Florida so I complained to the CEO as we were going with a friend that had booked seperate flight with them and the hotel direct s he could stay in the same place. We got free upgrades for all 3 of us to Prem gold and all got £150 off next holiday.
TGI Fridays - Terriable meal got the food free from the useless rude manager and complained to their USA head office they got onto the UK office and sent us £50 voucher.
Sure- Bought a couple of cans and one was empty! The seal hadn't been broken on the can and turned out to be a problem with the production line so I got £15 in vouchers.
I have had few more but they have been the best ones.0 -

You mainly have to type
Dear Sir/Madam
I pucrhase/used/visited (whichever suits your complaint) , then the name of the product/store.
Say you have used them several times before , but on this occasion you (write what your complaints about)
I am quite disatisfied with the service/product/store , and would like to draw this problem to your attention.
Also write what the consequences of your problem were (ie late bus...missed appointment, etc)
always works for me when im complaining!James thinks worrying is like a rocking chair, it gives you something to do, but it doesn't get you anywhere
If i help you...Please thank me! :beer:0 -
Has anyone ever complained to Clarks shoes? I emailed on the 16th after a bad experience in their store. It was appalling. To the extent that my daughter has being wearing the wrong size shoes!!!!! Not good for little feet. They haven't even bothered to reply except for sending an email to say they got my email...

I alway start off by praising whatever it is you're compaining about, saying how wonderful it was before etc. People mostly continue reading if you start by praising whatever it is.
Another trick I've found lately is that it is best to write a letter, rather than email - this also means you also include your address. I am guessing that it takes more physical effort to screw up and throw away a letter than it does to delete an email!!What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
NoI have had some success recently,
1. £9 voucher from pampers after a tab tore off whilst putting a new nappy on my daughter, not a major thing i just felt in the mood for rumbling that day a phone call sorted it, i did have to send the nappy and tab back to them though no big deal.
2. £2.50 and 3 new scoops from aptimil after the scoop from my daughters milk was missing from the just opened tub ( we still had the other scoop) but i again felt like grumbling after the success of my pampers moan.
3. £2 voucher card from asda after the red tear strip on my faveourite custard creams didnt tear properly it only ripped off an inch meaning that i had to wrestle to open the packet.
this is my first post on here i have been looking at mse for ages and in particular the freebies thing.0 -

Nodidnt write a letter ofr this but a few years back (before i was a money saver) i ate in a supermarket cafe.i think it was one of those pasta dishes they some times do.it was actually quite nice but my whole family were eating there because we were travaling a couple of hundred miles. anyway there was a piece of plastic (plastic!)in my pasta. They refunded the whole familys meal (3 meals and 3 drinks) the whole thing cost around £10-£15 i think .it was pretty cool for a piece of plastic.0

YesWell I am only 15, but when I was 14, I bought some walkers salt and shake crisps, and I was horrified to find no salt sachet!!!
Wrote a letter and a few days later I had a £4 voucher off walkers crisps, which didn't last very longStudent.
