Send the cheque back but get a photocopy of it before you do, then you've got proof you had it in the first place. Also get a certificate of posting from the Post Office, you're insured up to £32 if it goes missing then.0

If you don't want to pay for postage, just drop it in the post box. They'll have to pay an charge of around an extra £1 to £1-20 for an underpaid item on top of the original posting costs.

Hi,
I recently saw a list of addresses where you can write to in with regards to a number of companies. Can someone please send me the link?
Thanks in advance.

Noin my house we've never had any trouble with tesco's customer services.
when writing to them we've had compensation for faulty lights, cakes and clothing. they have replied within 7 days and have sent a giftcard for £10 eachtime.
In store they have always refunded us and given a little extra. Once we did have to ask because we did have to go out of our way to return a faulty item.
When my dad bought some milk which leaked all over his car they offered to pay for his car to be valetted!! (soz for sp)
so i cant complain about their CS.0 -
Noi sent an e-mail to proctor and gamble about some 2 in 1 bold tablets i purchased that were crushed beyond recognition! i just recieved an e-mail this morning informing me that they are sending me a voucher in the post, don't how much for but at least they were concerned enough to recompense me. By the way they answered my e-mail within 24 hours which is very good going.0

Hiya all,
Just thought I would let you know about two success stories I have had this week!
Rang Gilette Customer Services (number on product) and spoke to a very nice lady and explained that my husband's shaving gel had jammed half way through being used. Had to give her codes from bottle etc but she apologised profusely and had a £3 voucher through the post to say sorry :T
Also e-mailed Kelloggs to say that Cornflakes packet had lots of "bits" in and had a letter back with a £5 voucher in! :T
Can't be bad!
No reply from Tesco customer services about refund they owe me from online grocery shopping - boo!
Still can't win them all I suppose....0 -
Has anyone ever complained to Clarks shoes? I emailed on the 16th after a bad experience in their store. It was appalling. To the extent that my daughter has being wearing the wrong size shoes!!!!! Not good for little feet. They haven't even bothered to reply except for sending an email to say they got my email...:mad:This is a system account and does not represent a real person. thats good. I think writing is the key. I emailed Eaglemoss and the JackieChan website about getting cards to complete the collection (had received all mags_. No reply. Phoned switchboard. Told to ring an 0870 number which I was a bit annoyed about. Gave the man who answered the list of cards. Only at the end did he say there would be a £1.50 P&p charge. I was livid after the amount we had paid for the collection in the first place and refused.
I kept meaning to write a complaint letter but never got round to it. However since then 2 envelopes have arrived with some cards in. Some of the cards are French so useless. Must get DS to check how many more he needs, so that I can write to them and may complain about quality of storage tin etc.
Companies I have had success with ( not all complaints)
Highland Spring - I alerted them to the fact that Tesco were selling TMF at higher than max claim price. Even though they weren't at fault they sent a big box of waters (small and large sizes).
Popcorn maker - company sent a replacement even though original unit was several years old.
Fox biscuits- sent vouchers after I said new recipe was not as good as old.0 -
