I would keep the product as proof, but offer to send it if necessary.
And send all letters recorded so they have to be signed for. Company cannot then say "We've never received it" as someone has to sign for it.:wall: Flagellation, necrophilia and bestiality - Am I flogging a dead horse? :wall:

NoI was given the option of either buying a replacement product (£90!!!!!) - or having my old ghds returned to me at a cost of about £10 (for admin/post costs!!) - don't really want to spend £90 on more ghds - it seems wrong that I have to pay to have my product returned back to me!!!!????
My 3 year old GHDs broke too. I posted them back to Jemella as they requested and they rang me when they'd received them to say they were out of warranty and I would have to pay £43 to have them repaired or I could have them back as they were! I told them to just send them back to me as I'd noticed that faulty GHDs can fetch a bit on ebay. I then got another call asking why I wanted my old GHDs back. I explained that I didn't want to pay £43 for a repair so instead they offered me a brand new pair for the same price which I agreed to.
Maybe it depends on who you speak to. Try ringing them again to say you want your old ones back.0 -
NoThis is quite shocking but i rang SKY the other day to have SKY broadband and they told me i had to ring another number, so i took the number down and said thankyou to the helpdesk staff and put phone down and picked it back up to dial the other number, the man was still on the other end of the line and hadnt finished the call, i think he took his headset off, i was saying "hello????" over and over, i starting thinking oh what am i going to do and all of a sudden i heard him talking to 2 other people in his work about how he had got in at 5 am this morning and had taken some "cocaine!" and it tasted bloody awful and he thought that it had been mixed with talcum powder!!!!! i was shell shocked and started shouting hello? again, i put the phone down and picked it back up and then it cut off, so i called back and asked to speak to a supervisor, they put me through and said they would have a copy of the recording from the call i made, i also have the staff id number for this person and his work phone number, but SKY refuse to tell me anything and i have told them i now dont want their services , they also took £40 out of my bank account today for the broadband installation fee (i havent even had it) so i rang and complained again and they said they will refund the money in 48 hrs! I am truly disgusted with the service(or lack of) that i have recieved, please can anyone tell me what i should do, as i have spent approx 2 hrs on hold in total and am getting nowhere

my elderly mum started getting letters from the DWP about a Pension Credit overpayment,,,,, nearly £1700 quid.
the letter wasnt actually too bad and did say in some cases ie. you thought you were entitled and had spent it... then they might not ask for it back.
threw a letter together with there excuse also she had always paid her bills/ is worried and hammed up my mums circumstances a little (she is a 24/7 carer for my brother!) and got a letter back saying they wouldnt chase it!PLAY GOOD!

NoI was amazed when I did my monthly family shop at sainsbury's last week. (£342.17). When it came to paying at the checkout, the young (very uninterested) bint behind the till got a bit lippy for no reason. When I handed my visa debit card over she sighed and said "not another bloody card". I could not believe it! Surely this is a more convenient way to pay? I certainly wouldn't carry that amount of cash around for a shop... Needless to say I had a right old rant about it! Been nearly 2 weeks now with no reply to letter.. Is there an e-mail address I can send another stiff reminder to?
Many Thanks

NoI'm having a bad week products wise this week;
I bought one of those fridge pack boxes of diet coke and one was only half full and also flat, and another one was flat too.
I bought a carton of Inncent smoothie and it tasted wrong, really really wrong. It was sort of fizzy and tasted a bit like banana's when they'd gone brown.
Bought a ginster's pasty and it was full of air, I know it says "deep filled" but I personally was assuming they meant with filling :rotfl: .
Does anyone know who I should contact on each of these products and if they'll actually be interested in knowing there's something wrong with one of their products? I'm not really too bothered about getting anything in return, but if they'll actually listen I'd like to alert them to something being wrong.

I wrote a letter of complaint to Comet after they refused to give me a refund on a broken vacuum because I didn't have 'proof of purchase' - other than the fact that the product was a 'comet exclusive'... also complained about the terrible attitude of the employees which included referring to a customer as a '!!!!!!! idiot'...
Got a letter in response basically saying that they couldn't give a toss.
Comet are absolutely useless!! We took back a faulty kettle we paid £39.99 by cheque and asked for a refund (we had only had it 2 weeks!) the staff at the store treated my OH really badly, saying as it was a cheque ew put the money back on the card?! This was not true as he went outside and phoned 2 other stores just to ask the procedure of taking back a product that wa bought with a cheque, they said it was pay cash back!! After being told this my OH said that we would have the kettle back then (so we can take it to another store - but we didn't say that) The member of staff refused saying already put it through the computer! OH said its my property you have not given me my money so pleae can I have my kettle... again they refused! My OH went outside with no kettle and no money, he saw someone outside having a 'fag break' and asked whether he agreed with the way they just treated him! He said no way mate the manager is leaving so don't give a toss on how he treats people!!!!
Anyway OH phoned the complaints and was cut off when she was rude and my OH said we were recording the call etc, so we sent a letter, 1 month later still no money and no kettle so I wrote again this time saying I will get the watchdog onto my claim - we had all the paperwork etc.... they sent back a cheque for £39.99 - no apology or nothing? That was all we wanted in teh first place! But we were really treated bad!!!!
they are terrible!!Angel

Not good for little feet. They haven't even bothered to reply except for sending an email to say they got my email...
Was this the store in Street, Somerset?
They were the same with me for my little boys first shoes! I was so excited but felt really bad when I left! then got him measured at mothercare 2 weeks later to see he was a whole size smaller!!!!Angel
