Thankyou......I've had a look, I don't think i'd qualify for DLA now (although I still can't walk on some surfaces and I'll never wear heels again - sob!!) but when I was very ill at the time (I had a spinal injury and I was told by the neuro surgeon I could end up in a wheelchair) I would definitely have qualified - and for a fair while as well......ah well, its good to know these things, I might be able to pass on the information to someone else in the future.

Got paid this months AQA money - £432. My skirts and underwear arrived that I'd treated myself to with the £32, so i've just been a good girl and paid that straight away.

Still not sure how much of the £400 to keep back for Christmas.......i'll have a think as the day goes on...

I would say enough for a nice bottle of xmas tipple (baileys is always a good choice!:D  ) and a box of chocs or a couple of nice cheeses and crackers - I went shopping last night for my xmas treats and couldnt decide between chocs or cheese so got both (oops!) my theory to OH was because I got them from Aldi rather than tesco it came to the same amount and therefore won't feel guilty!!!:T :D

  • I just discovered your diary today and have spent most of the afternoon reading it! It won't help my uni work any, but I'm starting to get the hint that several areas are verging on being beyond help anyway!!

Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you for this thread, it's been a real eye opener for me as someone who will be out in the big scary wide world from June. I think you're really brave to be confronting your problems - and well done for working so hard, I hope you enjoy Christmas as you really deserve it. I've got my fingers crossed for you, but after all I've read about your struggles I know you can do it! Hope you feel better soon too x

p.s. I know it's none of my business but I can't help but agree with the other people who've said your OH doesn't know how good he's got it

Something has gone seriously wrong with my finances.

I'm £20 over my overdraft limit. How that can be I don't understand. There must be some pending items on my account.

    What a !!!! up.
