Hi just spent an hour and a half reading through all your posts from start to finish. You have given me some great ideas on how to maximise my income and set a target date for becoming debt free. Like you my debt and eating habits seem to follow cycles and I want to break the cycle for good. I have spoken to my nurse/ Gp about how I feel about different things in my life inlcuding the money issues and I have also been prescribed Prozac. I have taken it for about ten days now. It is starting to help.
Keep posting!Skint- Gall

Strange old day.
Dragon features called me in and told me that I have to either take tomorrow and Friday off sick, or work from home (I have server access through dial up from home). I said I didn't want to go off sick. She said I was pale and that work was only get busier over the next 2-3 months (we have just started a big public consultation) and that she was worried about me. I said 'are you??? I must have sounded very surprised because she looked a bit taken aback and said 'yes, of course I am'.
So, I am working from home tomorrow. Of course, I don't trust her as far as I can throw her, so she will be getting an email from me at 8 tomorrow to let her know I'm on the network.
Got home to find a letter from the court.
The court have put a stay on both my Abbey claims and I've applied for them both to be lifted. Other people in this situation have just had the stays lifted and then given a court date....oh, not, not me. The Judge has ordered a hearing on 24 November!
the odd thing is that I applied to the court on 9 October for one stay to be lifted (my £700 claim) and then I applied on 19 October for the stay on my second claim to be lifted (my £3800 claim)
And the hearing is about my second claim - the big one!!!!!! :j
I phoned the court concerned that i hadn't heard about them in the correct order and was told the other one was still with the District Judge.
So, off to court I go again! And, the Abbey have to attend as well. If I can at least get the stay lifted I can get a court date and then Abbey are just paying out.
Day 3 on the Prozac. Feel no different other than a bit tired. Woke inthe night with a thumping headach which I still had at 10 this morning, but that could just be how I slept.
Still have a lumpy neck.0 -

Hmm. This sounds like someone has been talking about you. How many people know you're on Prozac?
Sounds like she does as well now.oakdale_minx wrote:So, I am working from home tomorrow. Of course, I don't trust her as far as I can throw her, so she will be getting an email from me at 8 tomorrow to let her know I'm on the network.
Stick in the email that home-working was at her insistence.

Nobody at all knows about the prozac except you guys. She knows I am on the antibiotics but nothing more. I did wonder if somebody had said something. Another manager from a different department tried to get me to have Thursday and Friday off sick, but she is an ally and can't stand my boss, but I did wonder......
Didn't even get as far as telling my OH. Told him on Monday I had been to the Doc's . He seemed surprised and asked why (although if he had been around at the weekend he would have konwn!).
I said that since Friday my neck had become swollen and stiff and the doctor had said I had a viral infection and I was run down. 'Run down?????' he said sarcastically.........decided not to say what the other box of tablets in the bag were for.......
