It's the exam next...........:eek:0

AQA total for August £900.30.
Blimey I think my head is going to explode.
Week off work? what week off work??
Now, the old me (and there's a tiny little devil in me still I'm currently stamping on it) would fritter that away on lots of bits and bobs.......and it would nicely replace my ailing car........
however......the foot is firmly on the devil and when I get paid (Monday I think) it will pay off
All my OU fees for this year
All my NEXT account
All my Mint CC balance.
With the vets fees and the mystery shop and a it of 'leakage' (10p cream horns etc etc) spend I've put £138 back on the CC I'd cleared (that was hard to confess!!!!!).
There is also exactly enough in my AQA money to clear that again as well. I get the mystery shop money back this month into my bank account and my ex gave me half the vet fees, but I drank those in my drunken splurge last Friday. Ahem.
I was going to keep £50 back, but I'm going to use it to pay everything above and have a very very tight month. With the £100 I've had to send today to the court, things will be tight food wise, but I'll see how I go with my current account money and if it falls apart at the end of the month I'll use the CC and do a bit extra AQA.
AQA September target: £600.
This will pay off my Capital One CC, the shoes I bought from NEXT and a top from the catalogue that will be due this month that was buy now, pay later.
I'm now downing my last bottle of cider in the fridge. Ithink I deserve it!!!!!0 -
ooooh, backsides..........
checked my online account and my quarterly TV licence was due. That's another £32 off the monthly budget........0 -
I feel a bit like i'm trudging through mud today. I'm a bit whacked.
I got notification from the court that the Judgement by Default has been entered against Citicards. Apparently that means they have a CCJ agains them. (sounds good huh?!) That's their Chief Executive stuck with only being able to get a Vanquish CC now.........:rotfl:
I'm waiting for advice on what to do next. I fancy a trip to Salford with a van full of bailiffs.........:D0 -
My sister and brother in law are coming down today until Wednesday. I've upped the shopping budget, but I'll just make more of the normal food. My sister has two jobs, so I can't see they will be wanting to go out and party.
I really need some work clothes. No, I need to lose weight to get INTO the wardrobe of clothes I already have.
Change of plan. Brother in law just called and they are coming down tomorrow. Bum. I've tidied up and everything!!0 -
OK I know that I might get shot, but, why doest seem that you have a pudding every night? I don't mean to sound harsh, but if you didn't buy /make pudding at All then you would spend even less money and would maybe lose some other pounds too?* runs away and hides*I want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

no need to run away and hide - I probably do pudding about once a fortnight (if that), but I did have a bit of a gorge on the 10p cream cakes (ahem).
Unfortunately, food is my 'thing'. I eat when i'm bored, lonely, unhappy, feel unloved, tired or generally feeling a bit poo. I don't smoke, do drugs, gamble or drink to excess (I can go weeks and not have a drink and not be bothered). Unfortunately, having a food addiction is instantly noticeable to everyone - you are fat. I've tried everything bar drastic stuff like surgery over the years.
I was very skinny until I was 13 and then I was told something which completely did my head in about me being the 'shameful family secret'To an extent that is when my spending also started in a way. I started my Saturday job when I was 14 and spent the money almost as soon as I had it. Talk about it burning a hole in my pocket. I often spent it on Thorntons Continental chocolates which I ate on the bus on the way home. It was a little something just for me
Food and spending to me are similar - emotion/spend or eat/guilt/spend or eat . It's a cycle and I'm pretty sure there are many many people in debt who can identify with this cycle, but have never understood why someone can be overweight. It's the same feelings.0 -
I am sorry for asking but what are these market research companies, IMS, AQA, etc? I would love to sign up with them....especially the online questions one. Any links or contact details would be gratefully received.
Have read this whole thread through........GOOD LUCK!!!!0 -
