You can do as many or as few hours as you like, but I think the requirement is to log in once a month.
Pay is per question, 30p each.
Good to work for I think, nice people although we dont really have that much contact, except at review time.
Tax is fairly straight forward, you'll need to keep a record of how much they pay you each month.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0 -
Cheers for that tiff!
I've been sent home
I had a rather sarcastic email from Cruella and got a bit upset. I then had a very very heavy nosebleed in the ladies. I've had nosebleeds before and my GP years ago said it was like a 'pressure valve', but it was a bit frightening and I felt awful afterwards. I went to see Cruella to ask if I could change a meeting time with her just so I could have 10 minutes quiet somewhere and she got all over protective, insisted on finding a first aider, then told me I had to go home, had to go to my GP this afternoon to get my blood pressure checked. I'm going at 2.30 and I know it will be high. It was the email that caused it, just one dig too many.
I didn't want to come home because I don't want her saying to anyone - see she can't cope. She was 'I'm very worried about you, your health is important' it was so sickly it was awful.
I'm very tired and have a headache now.
I want to hide in a corner and stay there. Debt is keeping me in this job and I know life shouldn't be full of 'if only's' but if only I hadn't been so stupid this time, I would now be in a position that I wouldn't have the secured loan and I could take a hefty pay cut. Jobs in this area in my line of work are few and far between sadly and as I have 15 years experience, going for a more 'junior' post would make employers wonder why I want to step down.0 -
Hi OM (((have a virtual hug)))
I can really identify with how you are feeling. I have my own version of Cruella in my office and I too have suffered with high blood pressue - bought on my stress at work - and my latest thing is a blood vessel that keeps popping in my eye. The doctor told me this was a "pressure valve" type thing too. I get so angry with myself sometimes because if I hadn't been so stupid to get in to debt, I could walk away from situations I am unhappy with.
Sorry to turn this into a mini-moan on my behalf - hope you get on okay at the Docs.Dealing with my debt and my weight

Sorry, I answered the question without thinking it was directed at you lol.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

Did you not tell her that sometimes you bleed from the other end as well? :rolleyes:oakdale_minx wrote:I'm very tired and have a headache now.
Get some sleep. Tiredness is telling you you're tired - so get some sleep.oakdale_minx wrote:I want to hide in a corner and stay there. So how about looking in different areas for jobs? What keeps you in that part of the world anyway?"Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

You're not alone. My Dad hates it too. He says it's because they're full of ill people..."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

It was 140/80, so it was fine. A surprise to be honest. They still want to monitor it and I was given the choice of wearing a monitor for 24 hours which takes a reading every 30 minutes or seeing the same practice nurse every fortnight to get a consistent reading over a period of time. I'm going to see the nurse!! I HATE BP monitors, the constriction makes me feel sick! I work opposite my GP's surgery so I can literally wander over the road.
I still feel tired and washed out. I went to Tesco Express on the way back and spent £10. It is still in the bags and I don't think I've bought anything I 'needed'! I think I just blindly picked up bits , but I did get a bottle of rose wine as a treat for myself.0 -
just phoned GE to reduce my loan term again. Apparently i'm only allowed to re-structure every 6 months and because I've only just done it, I have to wait until June. However I can make overpayments by cheque or debit card at any time, which I didn't realise I could do. I'm going to start doing that from the 1st March. £80 a month extra, which is the CC payments I won't need to make anymore will make the term 4 years. So I will do £100 a month and that will make it just under 4 years.
If anything happens I know then I can stop the overpayment.
Also got citicards court skeleton argument as well today, so need to start looking at that.
Knock on the door this afternoon - I thought ooooooooooooooooooooooooohhhhh, flowers from a mystery admirer (knowing full well it wouldn't be from the OH)!!!!! Flung the door open..........meter man..........ah well.......
Printed off a prelim letter for the £290 of charges I discovered the other day.
With regards to my OH and last night, I felt like I was almost at the top of a big wave and probably one more sentence would have pushed me over the top of the wave and there would have been no going back........but it was still a bit too 'scary' to do..........0 -
Please take lots of care OM
