"I know what would have happened. I would have lent his son my car (his son is lovely) and my OH would have said that his son likes the car and will have it. My OH would promise to give me the money and it would never ever materialise.....maybe that's the bit I wasn't telling you perhaps...."
Hi OM, I know others have raised the issue of your OH, but are you saying he owes you money, beyond being a general skinflint and unappreciative of you and your efforts?
Love, you've got to take better care of yourself (please) and seriously think if he's worth this kind of hassle.0 -
OM,
Babe (and I mean this in a best girl-friend way-even though we've never met and I'm sure I'm not really one BUT)
That OH of yours needs a serious kick up the !!!!!!
Am I the only one desperate to RUN down Hampshire way to give the man a huge shake?
When the moment coems when you look at him and think 'Actually, I don't even LIKE you!' can we all come round for a celebratory glass of champers?

So what stopped you?

It seems so rude to introduce myself to your wonderful thread in this way, but what DID stop you?
I hope you have a good day. You are an inspiration and it is a pleasure to see how far you have come, particularly since the recent financial gains.
Perhaps your OH can't cope with your success, but there are so many on here who wish you every happiness.
Only you will know when the time is right, but when that day comes, I will certainly be joining in the free champers so kindly donated by ZTD. I hope he has got a cellar full as there will be one hell of a party.

Hi Oakdale I hope you don't mind but I notice from your thread you do AQA.. I have emailed them but have had no response? I asked for an application form and gave them a brief reason why I would be good at it. I know it says you have to have a degree but I thought I would chance the fact that I have six months left on my Diploma in Counselling training? Do you think I stand a chance?0

There's always tonight. Or tomorrow. Or the day after.

Hello O_M!
Sorry to ask same question as mae, but also emailed AQA as rather interested. I did get a response but not to a couple of questions I asked them. Would you mind filling in a couple of blanks for me?
How do you structure your hours? Do you have to agree to certain times or is it a case of 'clocking in' and just doing it whenever you are able to.
Do they pay on a per question or per hour basis? How much is the current rate?
LAST QUESTION, I PROMISE! Are they good to work for? Oh one more! Is it a pain in the bum having to do your own tax?
I hope you are well and Happy Valentine's Day!1st September 2007
