Thankyou for all your lovely comments - I often log on and just look at my thread and it gets me through the day!!!
I guess today is the start of a new chapter in my DFW/MSE journey.
I'll start with a new SOA. It is due to change again in a couple of months as I will have paid off the old electric/gas bill and should reduce by £15- £20.
Income
Main salary 1735.00
Outgoings
Mortgage 677.00
Council tax 90.00
Water 38.00
Gas/electricity 68.00
Home and contents insurance 15.00
Pet insurance 13.00
Car insurance 26.00
loan at 7.9%(59 payments left) 381.00
Tesco Clubcard Plus savings 50.00
Union fees 10.00
Tv licence 5.00
TV/Bband/phone (NTL) 30.00
Total: 1403.00
Leftover for food/car tax/mot etc 332
PLUS
AQA income (variable) average 400
Disposable monthly income (variable) 732
I plan to put the AQA money away each month. Some will eventually be used for the tax bill. It will mean I'm also in a position to pay extra on the loan each month to try to get it paid off sooner, although that may well change if my job situation changes. The Tesco money is money which is loaded onto my Clubard plus to use for shopping and means I get double clubcard points, that can be increased/decreased as I want to at any time and is part of my disposable income.
Getting a better mortgage deal in May is also at the top of the list of priorities. It is an awful deal I'm stuck with until then.
I keep looking at my SOA thinking there should be more outgoings but I've checked my bank statements and that is everything!
Today is D-Day for my job. I have my one to one with Cruella and an HR manager at 11.00. The union guy is also coming along with me. It is so weird that I am hoping that I am not wanted!!0 -
Good luck for later - dont let the cow intimidate you - you have done NOTHING wrong and she is a bully - any HR person worth their weight will see her for what she is.
