None in the back of the current one or the previous one - and that was the Carlton estate - there was room for an orgy in that one!!!! :rotfl:

You can tell us later how you calculate the space required for an orgy.

I've had it before - it was a bit rich for me. Not that I complained...

  • The mix is rather purple!!!!

Not really sure how the beetroot juice got splashed on the top cupboard doors though......

Had my first call on the car, but he is 70 miles away and I'm not holding out any hope he will call back tomorrow. He said he might or he might not.

My Carlton was big enough to get a single divan bed plus mattress in without having to move the front seats forward!! THAT is how I calculated the space required!! (although space was a bit tight on top for anyone to get on it!!):rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
  • OM,
Your new car looks lush! I have a honda now and I love it. (automatic too-we could meet up and compare sometime?)
Cake sounds good, two of my FAV recipes are chocolate/courgette cake and chocolate/mayo cake (honest) but it has to be Miracle Whip mayo which I never see in this country-perhaps when I'm in Canada this summer I'll bring you back some and you can make it?
Well done again, I must admit I had a good chuckle over OH 'going off' Rovers, lol

I have only just caught up on the last couple of days posts and so am a bit behind, but just wanted to say a very big well done on the bank charges, and congratulations on getting the car that you want.

Sometimes you just "know" that something is right and you have to go with your gut instinct. I am sure you will enjoy every minute of it.

So, what is next, apart from the Citi claim? Any more challenges on the horizon! don't want you getting bored now!

My next challenges are (aside from beating Cruella and Citi !!)

-Contact the loan company and reduce the term by a year to 4 years. This will use the £80 a month I will have free when I pay off the remaining 2 CC's later this week when Abbey's money hits my acount.

-to keep going with AQA to build up money to aim to pay the loan of earlier than currently planned, if I could knock another year off, that would be brilliant.

    - To sort out my AWFUL mortgage deal in some way. Will start to look at that in April as I can leave GMAC in May this year without incurring early redemption fees. Any money I can save on that would go towards the loan fund.

    - To look at pensions in some way.

    - I'm also going to start shopping around for new carpets. My aim is to get all three rooms done, with underlay and fitting for £600.

I'm going to send the Abbey solicitor an email later today about the incorrect daily interest and also ask for preparation time money. It feels very cheeky doing it but they are paying it if asked it seems. Worth a try!
  • How did the chocolate beetroot cake turn out? I've threatened to try it out on my housemates, and now they're living in fear of anything I cook!!
