  • oh dear not filling me with confidance, i also ordred from them for anyone wanting to beware homeaccesscomputers.com or Bli education there doesnt seem to be any communication with theses ppl unless there taking your money, i ordred from them on the 17th feb and told 10 working days which i admit i havent reached the 10 working days yet, but i have tried calling and been told they will ring me back as the number can only take orders, so it seems there happy to keep taking orders but not doing anything about the people whos money they have already taken, now im the first to admit yes they do provide 99% of the money but ive still put £20 and i should still be treated like a full paying customer, and £20 is alot out of my weekly budget, i certainely cant afford to just throw it away, i just have the same concerns as ''alfchild'' in thinking if they cant even give a straight answer on delivery how are they going to be able to deliver a t
    ech support service?

I ordered from these to, ordered on the 14th feb i finally manged to get through to someone and was informed the laptops were all ready to be dispatched but the free laptop bag you get with it the supplier had let them down and as soon as they had stock of the bag they would be dispatching them, I was only told i had to understand they had over 200 to dispatch to which i said if you cant handle the volume of orders dont take the money off us in the first place, got told DEF be here by end of next week so fingers crossed...

I've been reading the posts with interest, especially the ones about who's having problems with whatever supplier..I ordered the Toshiba from XMA yesterday and just received a text telling me it will be delivered today between 11:01 and 12:01. It would seem that XMA are the highest performing supplier (imo).

Misco are just as good - they seem the best two by far when it comes to service.

There is pros and cons to the packages both offer though - mostly depends which ISP people need.

Absolutely. I'm taking up the option to have sky broadband.. We already have the tv and phone at home, so it's a good, cheap option. My son attends a school for autistic kids and they have wifi, so he'll have internet access at school and home.

Really happy to say that the laptop was delivered within the hour time slot i'd been given. My son will be over the moon :j

Really great work MoneySavingExperts, thanks to all for the information.

It was less than a week but seems to be taking longer now - I guess more claims are going through as people hear about it.

Shouldn't be too long - thay say about three weeks in total.
  • Sorry this is my first post so sorry if I don't get everything write. I am using my sons laptop which we got through the scheme from homeaccesscomputers.com. Unlike other correspondents we had good service from them but I am writing to let you know that they also provide you with good packs of software that is the same as the software used in schools. I don't know if it is really worth the £500 they say but there certainly seems to be a lot in there for children of all ages. I have nothing but praise for this scheme.
