I have a question. Are these the only suppliers that supply the offer, or are there others?

    Thanks!

    (PS: PLEASE QUOTE ME)

Yes they are the only suppliers. New ones may or may not be added, and if they are they will appear there.

Ha ha! Another fine example of the amazing justice system we have here! :D

Whilst I really don't think it is right people selling their laptops on, I guess you could also say it is not right all the parents that use the child benefit money to buy fags and booze.

The Government do their bit to help, what the people choose to do with it is down to them. But if they are low enough to put themselves before their kids then to be honest they don't deserve to have them, and one day maybe the kids will realise that. Probably just as the benefit runs out and they need to start sponging off the kids!

Hi all re the statement that Becta posted here
I have just phoned this number to report the ones on Ebay apparently it is OK to sell one PC from Home Access.
If you are selling multiple lap tops they are investigating!!!!
    I am absolutely bouncing!!!!
I read the guy the statement above and he kept telling me I had misunderstood it and you can sell them as it becomes your property sounds madness to me or is it just me?????

    Hi Terence

Home Access have been in touch to say you were given the wrong info on the phone. I've sent you a PM with further info.

They would like you to get back in touch about the cases you were reporting as it's really helpful when members of the public do so.

Thanks and keep up the good work :)

    Wendy

Did u have any joy in finding something similar in Scotland? Am in similar circumstances and would be interested to know if there is anything out there for Scottish children. It does seem a bit unfair that it is only beneficial in England....

  • be creful because if you have the prepaid dongle and use it for anything other than education they will reduce your interent time to just 448mb per month. so always have a substitute on hand as I share the laptop with my son and his dongle keeps getting suspended for over use of non educational purposes ( social networking, newspapers, emails, hotmail, anything other than specified websites.. but other than that it is a great idea as mine loves his laptop but hates his prepaid dongle..
  • hi i applied for computer for my son sent off application and received all evidence letters back last week and saying they're processing my claim does anyone know how long this will now take and because the offer is coming to an end am i still likely to get one what are my chances ?
