hi renovation.girl, hope you don't mind me popping into your diary.
I really like the way you're focussing on different areas of your life. I've been trying to do something similar, but not thinking about it in such a structured way. Hope you don't mind if I steal your idea.
I love your patchwork wallpaper (another idea I might shamelessly steal at some point in the future :rotfl:).
Well done on your OU assignment.

Afternoon!
Well, I've been making the most of the time before the children come home and invade my space, and have tidied a bit and done some ruthless decluttering - only a couple of bags' worth, and a boxfile of paperwork, but it is a bit more order that is now in my home, so I will be satisfied with that for now.
And my "meditation" for today has included turning up the stereo very loud, and singing along as I work.......very good for the soulSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. Hi RG :hello:
I started reading your diary the other night, then fell asleepNot 'cos it was boring - au contraire - I LOVE the wallpaper idea. When I saw your inspiration I thought it was going to look bonkers, but it looks great. Even the door panels - fab attention to detail - thought I'd stumbled onto Living Etc forum by mistake!
As for the house - as a fellow DFW said to me:
"Cleaning the house whilst the children are growing, is like shoveling snow before it's stopped snowing"

hiya, there is nothing like a bit of order in your space. and then nothing like children to come and disorganise it all again for you lol. i built some shelves out of a recycled 70s unit today, bit wonky but does the job. edit, the cupboard at the bottom i built round the gas meter.
have a great week everyone, i am working on the moz and don't get much time on pc weekdays. xxx:DI can choose happiness whenever I wish no matter what my circumstances

Hiya RG - I've just read this from start to finish and you've really got me thinking about which areas of my life I need to focus on. Cheers for the inspiration my lovely! :T
Our house and our wardrobes have got cluttered again and we're really so much happier when we have room to move / breathe / grow.
I really should be listing some stuff I've sorted out on eBay but the one thing I am truly excellent at is procrastinating!Honestkly - I am legendary. I have to get up extra early to allow for all the inevitable faffing around and still get everything done!
