It's been a long time, but I'm back and ready to try again xxxxxx

Currently: working three jobs and babysitting for four different families.
Making 75% of my Christmas presents with a sewing machine I got off freecycle.
My oldest daughter is back home and I am trying to encourage her to get a job.....
My friend died of cancer yesterday so I am having a health overhaul, day three of NO cigs.
No heating on, have a massive pile of wood and some coal.
Finished my degre, waiting for results in December, signed up to do honours and might get disretionary funding, fingers crossed.
It's all about my lists, have a notebook of 'Things to do'.
Still single, don't ask!!
Been to the homeopath and been treated for SAD, hope it works.

Setting a little realistic challenge for myself, bearing in mind 24 hours in a day are not enough for me at the moment, in 20 days time by 24th November, I want to have just achieved these few things:
Make 20 Chrimbly presents.
Spring clean house.
Insulation; includes plastic double glazing, make two wool blinds, seal hallway floor.
Find out exact amount of debt.

Would like a stress free Chrimbly time xxxxxx

What sort of Christmas presents are you making?

I had a good day today. I cleaned out my kitchen cupboards and found some ancient tortillas, lots of jam a friend gave me ages ago and some tomato ketchup I'd forgotten about. Cupboards are now clean, neat and tidy. Am going to try hard to keep them that way.

Well done on your kitchen overhaul. If I can just get the house 'surface' cleaning and laundry done today I will feel I have achieved a lot.
I'm making sock monkeys and monsters, art bags, doorstops and housework aprons (will put some links if I can find some), (I designed the housework aprons myself, basic tie round the midle apron with pretty edge, but with big pockets for polish, duster, small spray bottles of disinfectant and window cleaner with cloths, really handy if like me you live i na three storey house, your hands are free to carry hoover etc).

I have a sewing machine that is still in its original box. So, I'm gonna have a go at making a housework apron. Might encourage me to do more housework.:):rotfl:

Laundry done, and a bit of cleaning. Lots of cooking and cheap-shop shopping under my belt though. It's a real juggling act doing three jobs, it will all be worth it when my debt is cleared xx
