Hi RV. I was just catching up with your thread. Not been around for a while and read your post. Congrats on getting the didgiridoo? out. I would love to be able to play an instrument of some kind. Sounds like you need that meditation time. Dont be hard on yourself. You have not failed. Things just havent worked out the way that you hoped! Sometimes you have to let things go to move forward. That doesnt mean that it is the end, sometimes a little change in routine can bring things sharply into focus and suddenly make sense. You keep playing that Didg. Sorry I have no enthusiasm to share. As you can see, I am sitting here on typing on the computer on a beautifully sunny Sunday afternoon - I too am lacking any kind of get up and go today.

I am sure my enthusiasm/get up and go is dependent on the weather. Its been grey and yukky here (obviously sunny on the days I am at work grrr) and i have a real job doing anything on those days.
I have so nearly finished stripping the paint off one of the dining room doors, if I manage to finish it today it will be a good day.xxxx

well, one side of the door isnt a bad start, plus it looks LUSH. im getting inspired with every little achievement. one day my life will just be hoovering and dusting, no more of this decorating malarky. cant wait.

good evening everyone,
just thought i would pop on and do a little update seeing as im buzzing my head off. i submitted my first assignment on my open uni course and got 72% result. i am more than happy with that, it was hard work but worth it. now i am going to enjoy sunday dinner (beef roast with all the trimmings) my bro is sharing the day with me n my girls and it will be seriously kickin back and getting merry.

Thanks folks, well it has been a lovely quiet day for me. I think i will do a proper update for you

FINANCES not fabulous but im working on it, im finding doing a little bit of ebay works rather than swamping myself with it, plus not spending money works too (gem of wisdom there lol).
HOME is a tip again but i have decided it is my children that make it messy, they are little whirlwinds of chaos and im just going to concentrate on my room and downstairs from now on, if i catch them making the mess i tell them to sort it but im not always here so they blame it on each other grr.
RELATIONSHIP i am ok on my own, my ex MIL phoned this evening, lo n behold he hadn't told her about the split so i gently filled her in or she would have gone on assuming he still lived here, poor thing he always lies to her about everything (like he used to to me)
CHILDREN messy but lovely. i wish i could ignore the mess but it upsets me - im virgo!!
WORK is really great, im working with a true professional which makes so much difference - ie im not finishing other peoples work, or doing more than my share, or watching my back, or seeing others take credit for my efforts, its all ok. but i am still looking for a new job, they are just few and far between. did i mention iv landed a great voluntary job for two hours a week working in a surestart children's centre - talk about foot in the door and i will love it!
HEALTH omg i got on the scales and im v overweight again. so, have been out for a march three evenings in a row for half an hour a time and now must must must address our diets......
SPIRTUALITY i am coming out of the SAD season so feeling generally happy inside. flowers sunshine birdsong, you know that stuff is goooooood.
FRIENDSHIPS im finding out who my true friends are, some have time some don't. iv been slightly 'needy' the past couple of weeks but now im back on my feet, im trying not to be clingy. iv decided to leave all my friends alone this week (no visits, calls or texts) and they are all invited to a curry nite next friday, my secret way of saying thanks for being there (if they have).
EDUCATION i have a few more qns from my nvq to do (which my assessor hasn't yet emailed me) but then thats done! but more exciting even still - i got the result back from my first open uni assignment - 72% - flippin well chuffed with that:j

plans for this week are to put up shelving in the shed, continue stripping the paint off the woodwork in dining room, swap all the beds around as we are being given a king size cast off from a mate, but mostly sort the food/shopping situation out - its a good job iv eaten all the pies already, just remind me not to buy any more!!

hey hypno, i really like your reiki approach. i will play my didgeridoo today, its in the key of D which i believe relates to the heart chakra, for those of us whose hearts need a bit of balance xx
