Can I ask how good was the quality of the dress? I just bought it tonight, and I am worried that it wont be good as it was so cheap!
I thought the same but I found the dress fitted like a glove it was obviously not a £1k plus, dress but I found it to be of good enough quality and certainly worth far more than I paid.
My nephew gets married this year and I am going to buy one of Cherlone's knee length dresses to wear at that do. :j0 -
Getting married in February on a Saturday for under £3000 in Chester.

Also disco from outside DJ, Bucks fizz reception, master of ceremonies and room for the night. all for £1000. Extra guests all day only £10 and drinks package (2 drinks) £5. Choc fountain £250, Magician £110. Dove release £150. Wedding dress, BM Dress and all accesories for £120 from Ebay. Not sure on price of registra, but I know it comes in under budget.
However honeymoon not in budget and is coming in at £3120, but that is 11 nights in Bali and 3 nights in Kuala Lumpur.
Check out your local Holiday Inn for deals. :j0 -
We got married for just under £1400.
Dress was £350
Venue was £600 for the ceremony room, evening room, buffet for 80 and bridal suite. Did do a bit of haggling and opted for a Tuesday. Got married at 3pm so we had to only do one feeding time too!
Hubby and the bridesmaids outfits were all under £10 each on ebay. Suit was a bargain, brand new and exact style he wanted but couldnt find in the local hire shop!
Flowers and accessories all ebay bargains
My mother bought the dj, MIL bought the cake.
My dad is a Blacksmith so made a fantastic wedding cake stand.
I bought all the decorations and the venue people were lovely and offered to decorate on that morning.
As we were getting ready i the room there were no vehicle costs.
Made our own invites. Splurged £10 on some paper roses and lace for the front of each invite!0
