Tell me to shut up but if your OH is buying the £55 system one ticket couldnt he just buy a FirstMonth or for the operator he travels on as nearly all in Manchester offer a cheaper ticket than the System1 ticket0

I went on a train years ago - horrid - on 2 crutches no one would stand up for me, and then I pratictly had to crawl along the station to get to the taxi

I don't know if its allowed as will it be classed as credit? but If you can go on a FirstYear ticket you get 2 months free (£55 by direct debit for 10 months) so you'll be saving £110 compared to FirstMonth tickets
