Don't know about anyone else, but it's really pi$$ing me off that the recpies are so hard to find. I've bought the book and feel the recipes ought to (all) be in it, but I too would like to try making the pork pie and cannot find the recipe :(

I think the book is about the right size, I certainly don't feel as if I've been short changed.

The extra recipes are as PDF files on the BBC food website.

I thought the windfall jam recipe wasn't available but someone told me where it was, maybe yours will be found.

I've gone through every pdf for every episode and that pork pie recipe's not on there.

Thanks for that. Aren't people on here lovely in that, if you ask about something, they go out of their way to search for you.

I googled Cheshire pie and it looks about right except you pour white wine in around the pork/apple where the jelly goes would be. I wonder if this solidifies into a jelly? Anyway I'll try and make it so will let you all know. He'll enjoy the pork and apple anyway.
  • hi, not sure if anyone has already posted this as I haven't completely read the thread, but The Book People are doing this book for £7.99 and they do free standard delivery if your order is over £20...of course if this is the only book you want, Amazon works out cheaper, but thought this might help someone!

I'm waiting for my book to be delivered by the Book People!!

Can someone who already has it tell me if there is a lamb tagine recipe in it? If not is it in one of their other books? The only one I can find online has eggs and meatballs in it or the chicken one.

I had a look at the Moroccan recipes & it was a chicken recipe or a meatball tagine with eggs.

    Thanks for looking.
