As myself and my OH were at home today i have not managed to be as active as i thought. Have not pigged out which is good though, cleaned the kitchen, have done lots of surveys and sold some items on ebay, so i have not totally wasted the day. Just ate dinner so hopefully by 9 i'll be alright to do some exercise.

  • I was supposed to play football last night, and it got cancelled due to frozen pitch!

So i'll need to try and do something over the weekend to get my 3 times in

Next week i'll be making up for it, hopefully 5 days in the gym, and football too

I've been so lazy this week - must be the cold! Anyway managed to stay awake enough to do another pilates session last night. I can feel it a bit in my legs today. I will aim for another session later on.

Well I was all motivated after I joined this thread to turn up at the gym 3 times this week instead of 2. However, the snow scuppered that!

However I have had to walk 3 miles to the train station each way twice this week (including hills) and I have been to the gym once so thats 3 session i would think?

I did a really good workout today that i recorded off fitness tv, it was called combat cardio and even though i could not do the whole hr, it was great to do something different. As the Joanna Hall workout DVD i know off by heart which gets boring after a while. So now ive reached the target for the week. Going to have to try and keep it up though.

Hello.... can I join too. I need to lose 5 stones.
Last year I was going to the gym 3/4 times a week, but then was told I was going to be redundant... so have been a couch potato with my self pity!!! LOL
I had planned to get to the gym 5 times a week while I am not working but the weather has put paid to that for a mo!
I have done Hannah Waterman's DVD today... and yes she is orange, but it is quite challenging. I have a trainer in the gym and the programmes he has written for me are interval training, as are the individual sessions I have with him so the DVD makes sense to me!
My daughter got the Ministry of Sound DVD today - so may give that a go at some stage! Although the music may do my head in after the first 2 minutes... lol

I know the exercise helps me drop weight quicker and I really enjoy it once I get going.... just the initial kick up the ar*e I need!!

Definately would count it. Well done that must have been difficult with all the snow and scary too.

Just to let everyone know i am putting down on the post where it says who has signed up how many weeks we each have achieved. So let me know and then i can update this. As long as you have done exercise 3x this week then that counts so iceicebaby i will put you down as completing this week. Tomorrow will be the start of the 2nd week.

Have added you nuttywoman, welcome to the thread, hope it helps. I just thought maybe a food diary which states the amounts you have eaten may be helpful.
