I would like to be added please, I think it may help in motivation!

I have been a lazy so and so for a few years now, haven't been able to settle into any routine etc.

But now I have joined a new gym and remembered that group exercise is what works best for me (I so wish I was motivated more to be active in my day to day life and I wouldnt need this but I do). I haven't felt this good in over 5 years about it.

So since I joined on 15th Feb I've done 4x each week.

So this week, 1x so far.

Some good ideas there Candlesrus might look at the Youtube videos and I still have my birth ball which I could re-inflate and use as a gym ball. Really was intending to exercise yesterday but had to go to supermarket early evening which meant kids were fed late, therefore, bathed late, therefore put to bed late so by the time I'd finished everything it was after 11pm :( I really need to be more organised. I'll have to try to do stuff in the day more instead of planning to exercise of an evening as something always comes up.

I know exactly what you mean , my kids tend to absorb all my time , then by the time they are in bed it's so late by the time i get round to exercising . I think thats why I tried to make tiny changes where i'm burning a bit more energy without noticing it ( like taking the stairs more and walking a bit more rather than using the car so much ) They should invent a shopping trolly thats run on peddles so you can burn it off while doing the weekly shopping lol:rotfl::rotfl:

Here are some ways to shift the pounds without even noticing it

I've managed one out of my three too :j Also ordered the Davina DVD today as I'm not very motivated by the Hannah Waterman one - maybe because she doesn't look like she's enjoying herself. I really must inflate my ball and give it a go as well.

    Hi
Can I join you PLEASE, I really need to get back to it and my cunning plan is if Im doing something hubby will feel the need to.
We both keep saying "I must"
We have a cross trainer, gave up gym memberships as we just weren't going. Its paid for itself over the years. Its just feeling a little neglected of late :rotfl:
I also have a weighted hulahoop which is a giggle.
Im off to a good start as I went out for a walk yesterday.

    Keep it up guys
    Smile make them wonder

Morning all, session 3 completed last night - salsa aerobics, love it!

Session 4 as an add on, half hour swim this morning, bit shorter than normal, I can usually squeeze 40 mins in.

Another swim tomorrow brings me to 5 and then weekend is for resting.

    Hi all,

Can I join you? I had my daughter 2 years ago and have managed to use her existence (and pregnancy before) to avoid doing any proper exercise.. Anyway, i've decided that it's time to get my !!!! in gear so I've shifted my working day around to allow me to go to the gym x 2 a week and for a swim x 2 a week. I'm hoping that that, combined with being more careful about what I'm eating, and chasing around after my little one will help me shift a stone before summer..

    Thanks in advance :-)
