Amazon will be fine...not sure about their marketplace sellers,ive never used them,only ever bought straight from Amazon...All GHD's come with a hologramme and number that you can register and check authenticity...good thing about Amazon is free delivery.

I have also been conned by the web site GHD555, is there anyway of getting our money back or should i just write it of as a bad experience.
I think it terrible that these companys can get away with it and using the GHD's name.

Hi everyone! :j I too got a pair of ghd stylers 4.2b from asos about the same time and opened them on xmas day. Can anyone else who also received a pair please answer this query? (i also posted this on the health and beauty board but thought i might get a better response here)

I've noticed a small gap at the back between the plates when they are closed together. When they are hot the gap is a little less but none the less I assume the plates should be totally parallel to each other when closed?

Is this normal and could anyone else with GHD IV Stylers (model 4.2b) let me know if there's has a gap when closed (nearest to the lead)?

Did you check them on the official GHD website? they have a website checker there. They know exactly who they sell their products to so if they ain't on the list....

Can anyone help me with a price for the GHD gold classic styler thats less then the GHD £119 and not a ebay seller (as I don't 100% trust them)

Or the IV styler for around the £80 price?
