  • hmm dont know if people on here will be willing to do this but its just an idea...

when my ghd's broke i sent them back to GHD and they send a free replacement. they ask for a receipt but as i had got mine online before i didnt have one so i said they were a present and they sent me new ones pretty quick. so if anyone has any broken pairs from friends then could send them back, theres an option for this on the site. or ebay sells a lot of broken ghd's for repairs/parts so if you could find some for £5 it might be worth a try if you are really strapped for cash :j
Who would say I couldn't make you mine? You were mine since th' beginning of time. Who would say we were far apart? You ever reside in the core of my heart?

They would have checked the warrenty. (Tied to the code on the GHDs) if they were outside of the 2 year warrenty they would have offered you a discount on a new pair but tbh the discount isn't all that. I was offered a pair with heat protection spray and mat for £99 but yet I can easily better this offer on sites I have mentioned above.

Also some types are beyond repair as they are no longer made so sending them in to be fixed would result in them being destroyed. You'd get the offer still but if you didn't want it or were unable to afford it, you'd stand to lose everything.

Some places on ebay offer a GHD repair service though which could always be an option?

Have you verified the site via the real GHD site? they have a list of fake sites and also authentic sites (they know who they sell their products to). If it was paid for with a credit card and it does not arrive you could have a claim but it depends on what you paid as most CCs require you to have spent £100 or more before they will refund on items not arriving.

https://www.ghdshair-uk.com - Caution! Unknown retailer website.

You might want to check on GHD's own website before you purchase from anywhere on the internet http://bewareoffakes.ghdhair.com/

    Hope this helps :)
