Have you checked with the GHD site? they have a website checker there:
    http://website-checker.ghdhair.com/counterfeit

Thanks, it comes up with caution unknown site so will give it a miss.
My daughter wants some hair straighteners for christmas as her's are broken and she is using her sister's.

Never had GHD but thought i would see if there are any bargains out there. They don't have to be the latest model.

Anyone know the best place to look?

    Thanks

Are your daughters real GHDs that have broken?

Contact the genuine site itself, they offer a discount if you send back the broken GHD model on a newer model.

I was offered "a discount" on a future GHD model if I sent back the old pair my mum borrowed to me (and seems to have forgotten about...) they are broken, I have found that they are unable to fix them as the model is too old but asked me to call them about a discount. Not had the time to do this yet but others here have done- hence me asking the question above yours (it would seem no one knows the answer to).

When I do get my answer I will post on here.

Maybe if she isn't too brand concious, try Boots? they have quite a few brands in and if you pay over £50 in total, you get 1200 points on special shopping evenings (or days if online). Every £50 gets 1200 points (equiv. of £12) so could end up with a bit more under the tree;)

Just check that they will fix your model first though- I have my mums "borrowed" GHDs and they are very old. I found on the website that they do not repair this model and I called to enquire, they told me if I sent them in they would be destroyed but would give me a discount on the latest model (MK4), with a mat and spray for £99 (sorry but not good enough a deal for me- most places undercut this!)

    Hello

my mum is after ghd's for xmas (the cheek!)

found these for £88 - cheapest I've seen, free delivery too.

Can anyone beat them? Or any codes for amazon?

I dont think this price can be beaten for the genuine product and I'm afraid I don't have any amazon codes.
My pair have arrived from Amazon today and I very nearly purchased them last month for £93 from there. I've ordered these for dd as this will save the squabble over my pair when we are both preening ourselves at the same time. I've had to spirit them in without hubby seeing as he will moan that we do not require two pair per household!
  • Can anyone help me find the best price for some Pink GHD's? Trying to help a friend with an xmas present.

    Thank you, Bloomin Freezing2 xxx
