I bought a GHD IV Salon Styler from girlznight.co.uk last week and used code PM0309GN to get 10% off - making them £89.96.

Free delivery was included; it was meant to be 24hr delivery and took 4 days but still a good price. The only drawback was that they will only ship to the billing address; if you try and get it sent to work/a friend's house they decline the payment

P.S. Girlznight is a verified authentic seller according to the GHD website, so the product comes with a 2yr guarantee. I'm hoping it'll last longer than 2yrs though!

I bought some mini ghd from here, an authorised site according the the ghd web site. Next day special delivery was free, I ordered late on a Friday afternoon and they arrived on Saturday morning. Superb service and a brilliant product. a lot of money but they are far better than any other straighteners I have used.
They were also the best price online a couple of weeks ago, not sure if they still are as I've not checked since i bought them.

I've just purchased from http://www.ghdhair-online.com/. Then I found the ghd address checker. If I've lost £61 then fair enough but I used my Abbey credit card. Would they refund the money to me if I don't receive the item or I receive the item and it turns out to be a fake?

I just called them and they have told me that they cannot do anything until the transaction is processed, around Tuesday or Thursday probably she said.

At least I know to check the websites now.

That's awful your bank won't just cancel the transaction for you seeing as it hasn't gone though yet! If your order arrives you could refuse delivery and then claim non-delivery; you should get a refund from the website or from Abbey if you never receive the product.

Thanks Purpleducky. I'm a bit miffed because I chose the website due to it being highlighted at the top of the google search page. Never mind. I have ordered from the proper GHD website. My heart sank when I saw the 8 day delivery lead time.

I will refuse delivery then and see what happens. I just don't want them getting my money, I'm not so bothered about the £61. It was my own fault, but it still annoys me that these con-artists may get my money for something fake.

Seeing as GHD know who the faker-websites are, you'd think they'd tell Google not to let them advertise on their pages! :mad:

I think the best way to get a refund through your credit card is to take delivery of the item but then return it and get proof of postage. I returned straighteners this way and sent proof of postage that I returned the item to my bank who issued a full refund. The only thing I was out of pocket for was posting the item back.

Well, I am staying with my dad at present temporarily, and found that he had signed for it today whilst I was at work, so I guess I will have to post back to China now!

Flaming Shanghai on the from address! B*st*rds! The return address is in Chinese, will I be able to send that? i'm assuming its an address?
