A lot of related shops and hair dressers get good deals on GHD and if you can find that shops website they usually sell them for cheaper than you can buy them in store. However you have to pay P&P on these so it works out about the same cost. What my G/F did was print off the online price, took it into the hairdressers whose site it was and they honoured that price. I think it was about £65 she paid for them0

Very tempted by these pink GHDs on amazon, £94.25. The site says they've been out since August 08. Are they cheap because GHD have brought out a newer model?
I work for a Yorkshire-based catering company and fell for these straighteners when I worked for GHD's fab office/training salon opening night. Even met Martin Penny himself! I'd never tried GHDs before but the stylists offered to do our hair before the event got going and the result was amazing! Can't wait to get my own pair.

Hi Nic,
Thanks for posting the link to the pink GHD's! I've just bought a pairon the main GHD site they are still advertised as one of their newest models so I think you've just found a bargain really!
Have had 2 pairs of GHD's already and can't live without them, so I'm sure you will enjoy them if you do buy a pair, the price has gone up slightly to £97.99 but it's still a massive saving of £37.01!
Thanks again

OK I've read almost all the pages in this thread and am surprised/shocked that no-one has mentioned the Global Beauty Inc Chi straighteners. I've had mine since mid 2006 with no problems whatsoever. I paid £60 at the time as I bought them from a salon I'd been using for years their normal price was higher though I can't remember exactly how much.
I stepped on my chi at an odd angle and broke it. Now I'm searching for a new one and came across GHDs. Does anyone know of the chi and how it compares against GHDs? The chi was fantastic - very hot, very smooth, sturdy and robust much like the descriptions of GHDs on this thread but without the 'problems'.
I've seen the GHD MK4 for £57. Can anyone beat that?
ThanksThe reason people don't move right down inside the carriage is that there's nothing to hold onto when you're in the middle.0 -
Sorry Milky but you have seen 'fake' GHDs for that price.Thank you all who post.0

Just seen these new ghds with glittery plates and gloss finish available to pre-order on girlznight.com. Is this a genuine site? Has anyone else seen these and found them at a better price, you can pre-order for £124.00 which I think is a good price.

girlznight is a genuine supplier. GHD say so and I bought a genuine pair from there. They are very well priced. I couldn't beat it without getting fakes.0

They are not listed as an official seller on ghd's site and for that price, they cannot be real.0
