    where is the best place to get the mk3/4s from ? all of the sites in google look a bit dodgy to me!must be cheaper than 119 somewhere respectable!

    I'd recomment HQ Hair. They were cheapest when I was looking (just before Christmas).

    i'm lucky mine were 50 quid brand new from a local shop by me, nothing even comes close on my hair. i spent years trying out equivalents but nothing is half as good as ghds..

    having stood on and broken my ghds this morning (i am so so so so so so stupid!), i'm looking for a replacement - wondered if anyone has any thoughts on some of the ones on offer on ebay called 'she' which are allegedly 'old' ghds....

    I got the SCP ones from e-bay. They are brilliant. Got them from Kian's Store on e-bay £28 and came with a heat resistant bag, hairbrush, comb and hair clips.

    if you go through hqhair.com and you're registered with pigsback, you'll get piggy points. i don't know how the prices compare though.

    my 'old' ghds were fine and it's a lot cheaper....
    just thought i'd update this - i got some 'she' straighteners - not the ones in the link, i went for the wide ones in the end. they do work just as well as my old (sadly deceased) GHDs. i have particularly frizzy hair so wasn't really expecting them to be as good, but they are!! and for about £50, well worth the money saving!
