What's the difference between the IV, the Gold Classic and the Gold MAX?

Afaik the gold classic has smoother plates than the IV ( and about £20 more expensive) the gold max has wider plates so is better for thicker longer hair. Ive got long thick hair and the IV works fine for me though!

I second Amazon for Ghd. If you have student discount you get an extra 5% off so you can get the IV delivered for under £80.

Also if buying a gift don't forget heatproof mat/bag.

    I've got these from Ebay

    mat

    bag

Both been in use for about 5 years and no burns and they haven't worn out :)

Please note cashback is not 15.45%.

It seems to be 5.15% (so I assume goes through as "health electricals") rather than the "online purchase" at the higher percentage. I'll query this with topcashback.

Fortunately, for what I was buying they seemed the most competitive anyway, so nothing lost!

Also they haven't included a free spray in the order, though do seem to have included a (non ghd) heat mat.

They had an increased rate available for a few days of 15.45%, but it looks like it's reverted back to the standard rate. I bought them at this rate and paid approx £70.30. There was an option to buy the straighteners with the ghd spray (it was half way down the page) and they came with the free heat mat. I spoke to my hairdresser yesterday and she said that even she couldn't buy them that cheap herself.

The 15.45 % is still available so I would def query it with topcashback as this is what I got when I purhased them on Tuesday.

    Hi Sue,

Thanks for the additional information, and apologies if I "jumped the gun" a bit in my last post.

It's definitely only tracked at 5.15% though. I went for the pink orchid set however, which will explain why I didn't get the hairspray. I didn't even see the set offering the free spray first time round.

I'll try to report it on topcashback and see how I get on.

Thanks again for the pointers though :)
