    I'm not sure that's a consolation :rotfl:

Last night, they left without telling us, left a mess, the carpets look bug-gered, and one left a pee in the loo without flushing.

    Nice :o

It was like the other night, when out on performance, went to the loo, 5 others there at same time, only 1 of them washed there hands,

    Yuk!

Aww, hope work gets better for you :)
I've smoked for about 7-8 years, up to about 35 a day now. I'm giving up on saturday, will do it :)
I'm not on SSRI's (they make me self harm :-/ ), I'm on tricyclics, and the dry mouth is a common side affect. Hopefully it'll pass soon.
I'm off for lunch and to watch a dvd, will post more later
    Thankies for the hug xxx
You can do it - my husband gave up cold turkey, he couldn't get out as he broke his leg but hasn't smoked since 1998.

You are right about fags and booze. A bit of booze is OK especially in winter, I hate drinking in summer but the effects can be so unpredictable whenever. I have to be careful when I drink as it can really send me nuts or make me feel fab.

As far as S is concerned. You have done nothing wrong but she seems very screwed up and will be very unpredictable.

Yeah, they smell and grunt too much :o

    I don't do either, it's food that's my 'sin'

I know i've done nothing wrong. I've been told that most women wouldn't believe their luck, but sadly, I pick the troubled souls :o

    Cold Turkey?

Why am I getting that this is not as straightforward sounding as it seems

Why would he give up cold turkey? :rotfl:

I've heard the term used in saying someone is a cold person.......

    Totally confuzzled me :rotfl:

Hi everyone. Hope today's shaping up to be a bit better than yesterday. xx Didn't have a brilliant night's sleep - must have been gone 2am by the time my mind finally stopped, then alarm at 6am

Tiffy well done you for today! Wishing you the very best of luck, but I have the required bundle of £20 notes ready, just in case :D And I will be PMing you, just in case you thought you'd escaped that... ;)

FG - bless your heart hun for your kind words. You're an angel too don't forget that... so really you're looking at yourself when you're looking at my avatar :) Just glad to hear you sounding more positive today; but not surprised you're tired after everything you're going through. Take it easy on yourself today x

Ethel - how's it going? You feeling better today? Did b/f manage to sort out you computer? FG's right withhold dinner if you have to, till it's done :) Hope college work's not getting on top of you either. You can always come on here when you need a break or just to let off steam xx

jw1096 - so sorry you have all that work aggro to cope with, as well as everything else. Wish I knew why employers have to treat their staff like that, but fact is I don't! Could you do with taking some time off perhaps, just to get a break? Just my thoughts. Maybe also worth having a chat with your GP about how the ADs are making you feel? Take care.

CIBD - I don't see it as a contradiction really. Someone can be a decent person, but lacking in confidence so it doesn't always come across to other people the way we'd like it to. Just a thought - since the bullying you may also be dealing with low self-esteem perhaps and that does take time to rebuild. Might be worth considering professional help, perhaps have a chat with your GP about the options available.

Blinky - good news things continue to go well with R, but as Miro says please don't feel we don't want to hear when you're doing well. You're one of the gang and we support each other - ups as well as downs. Hugs Sx

Mr Miro. "Oh my, someone listened to me." Hmm, yes... will wonders never cease? Maybe that's because you're worth listening to? Ever considered that? Hope the builders aren't driving you too nuts. I had scaffolders round this morning, so I'm fully expecting to get home tonight and find a pole sticking through one of my windows! I was so, so delighted reading your decisions. I know it's been tough for you, but I did feel somehow you needed to start foregrounding your own needs, as Tiff said too. And you're starting to "regroup", if I can borrow your own excellent word, so keep that going, ok hun? We're all here for you. Sx

Big hugs and much love to the rest of our gang too - rosie, Elona, geminilady, Bunnie, CCStar (keep on trucking with the packing hun! :)) and everyone I've missed.

Take care everyone. I'll be out this evening after work but will try and check in with you all at some point.

    Much love,
    Saz xxx

    Ahhhhhhhhhhh, thanks :)

I knew something must have been lost in translation :o

I didn't honestly think CC Star's husband had given up cold turkey, I just couldn't decide what it meant :rotfl:

    Mr? ooh how formal :p

I dunno, most people just ignore me :rotfl:

Builders are nuts, and driving me nuts!

We now have a yellow kitchen and blue bathroom.........hmmmmmm :o

Scaffolders - we have them soon, don't know when :o

Well, I have to put my feelings first, although if 'S' calls and says she wants me to run through hoops and jump when prompted, tonight, I will

However, she can't, as phone is switched off........I can't have it on right now, incase of what she may say about the CD.......and anyway, she can wait a few days for any reply, she makes me wait all the time........i'm not going to be her 'yes' man. If she wants me, it's as an equal!

And anyway, she'll contact flatmate too, so if she can't get me, she'll ask where i've gone.

    Imagine this

    Flatmate = F, 'S' = S, Me= M.

    'S': Where's 'M'
    'F': Here
'S': Why's he not answering my text
    'F': He hasn't mentioned anything
    'S': Have I offended him
    'F': Don't know
    'S': Confuzzled
'M': (Says to himself "Not nice is it")
