CCStar wrote:It annoying but at least they turned up!
I'm not sure that's a consolation :rotfl:
Last night, they left without telling us, left a mess, the carpets look bug-gered, and one left a pee in the loo without flushing.
Nice
It was like the other night, when out on performance, went to the loo, 5 others there at same time, only 1 of them washed there hands,

blinky wrote:Smoking is a stimulant and makes you more anxious - I am in the process of quitting / cutting down. I tend to smoke more during the day at work -it's largely habitual to get outside with friends and escape some of the pressure. However, for years it's been my only pleasure. It doesn't cost me that much as I smoke roll-ups (far cheaper than standard fags).
The dry mouth is a common side effect of the SSRI antidepressants. Two other ones are increased sweating and higher body temperature / overheating (+ occassional hot spells). 'R' says that I'm like 10 hot water bottles
I think the numbness is part of an internal defence mechanism to protect yourself from the feelings. It is quite common in depressed people.
As I've said previously I find being at work better than being at home when I'm low because at least I'm with people - I feel isolated at home.
Of course you can have some hugs
I'm okay v.tired - slept in and late for work this morning. Nothing said as I work so hard and I do too much unpaid overtime.Been a busy morning fixing other people's !!!! ups.
Was out with 'R' last night :j :kisses2: :happyhear :happyhear It's still going very well. Didn't want to post about it last night - didn't seem appropriate.
Aww, hope work gets better for you
I've smoked for about 7-8 years, up to about 35 a day now. I'm giving up on saturday, will do it
I'm not on SSRI's (they make me self harm :-/ ), I'm on tricyclics, and the dry mouth is a common side affect. Hopefully it'll pass soon.
I'm off for lunch and to watch a dvd, will post more later
Thankies for the hug xxxStay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -

So your lateness wasn't to do with 'R'?Well, not directly
Wish you posted last night. Always nice to hear other people doing well. As opposed to making us feel worse, it actually helps to make me think that it might be me who's next for a nice day0 -
Miroslav wrote:So you want my body, can have a conversation, bathe and shower, and you are still on planet earth, even if only just............well you beat 'S' 4-2, so you win
Cook? Well, Microwave's are a great invention
I can cook, just not brilliantly. When I was younger I worked in a cafe/restaurant, but I literally could not stand the heat
Right then, whens our date?
And, do you beat R?
1) Do you fancy me?
2) Will you text me lots?
3) Will you buy me lots of cream cakes?
4) Will you open every door?Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -

1. Well, you meet the criteria in a previous post, so you'll do :rotfl:

CCstar - hope you are okay. I really appreciate all your advice and hearing your story, it does help. But how do I know I'm not making a mistake?
There is a risk of making mistakes in everything one does
Were you ok drinking at home CCstar? I know you often find it not good to drink at home, were things better?
I don't like to drink alone or in the wrong mood but felt in the right mood. Some drinks agree with me more than others
How nice of your son to be friendly, I hope it lasts. I am hoping you are okay. Remember, you are a strong lady, and I don't think you need to worry about becoming your mothers slave. Aslong as you work out EXACTLY what you are willing to give - write it down so you don't forget - and stick to it. Let her know that you are there for her and willing to help, but you have to make your own life.
She will be helping me with a deposit so feel obligated. I also dread her husband dying (very likely as he is 92) She can be lovely but also can be belittling and changes without warning. I used to live near her when I was younger and felt very invaded. I want to go back south but not be too near her, but being up here with them isn't appealing either. We are downsizing as our son will leave home at some point and we haven't had good luck with properties up here
It is time for YOU now, hope you are coping ok with this stressful time and that the house is still looking minimalist! I always said i'd be a minimalist, but I've somehow managed to fill TWO 3 bed houses with junk!!
I try to throw stuff out but end up keeping too much but throwing anything out that makes me miserable.
I don't know what half of it is - I've still got everything from when I moved out of my parents in boxes, unopened. Hope the noise is okay today, and that it isn't as windy as it is here.
The neighbours are back from their holidaybut it has been cold and nasty weather this week - I like bad weather when I am home, it keeps the c**ts in:D) The weather is more still today and grey but rain is forecast later when we go out shopping, at least it is an indoor mall
Thinkingof you too xxxAn average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:

Evenings are harder also because of the dark nights coming in earlier maybe?
Cigarettes and drink won't help anything. Alcohol is a depressant anyway, but if you think you can manage it? Cigarettes are just money in smoke, I hope you can stop!
Hope the anti-depressants begin to take effect soon
As for crying, for about 10 years, I cried about 2 times. Now i'm like a big blubberer (A word?) So it will come
Not sure they are fighting over me :rotfl: When I did my music the other night, I was told I have a sexy voice :rotfl: She was on her 2nd tin of Diet Coke, so I guess she was under the influence of bubbles
I'm not good looking really, and tallness is one thing I have, it's not always good
She has loads of space in reality, I do think of writing texts but don't want to overload her, despite her saying I can text whenever......gotta be careful. I wait for my phone to go off............but i'm not letting it today.....it's switched off, incase she does text to say my CD was pants!
I know it's about her, the backing off. It's just hard, but i'll wait for her. I can't keep doing all the work, it's down to her now. She has 'her' song, she has the 'powerful and emotional' lyrics as they were described. It's up to her now.
I won't ignore youAny 'advice' is good and sometimes when we aren't good at something, it's the best 'advice' you can get, as others know the mistakes they have made.......but then everyone is different. A song may work for some women, others will think it's pathetic.
Chocolate? Hmmmmmmm, you trying to make me porky?
She's not used to guys like me. If I had taken her up on a bit of hanky panky on day 1, abused her, taken her money and treated her bad, i'd have a g/f by now, but she has to accept, I'm not like that. I hope who I am is enough for someone one day, hopefully 'S', although to be honest, it could be a disaster, she is very hard work! I can't be too blunt, although one day, i'm just gonna say it!
Hope your inspection happens asap, it's not fun waiting.........workmen are weird today! I keep hearing them talk about the way they treat women and their body parts..........not really the kind of blokes i'd get on with. I can have a laugh, but they are laddie lads, with no respect for women at all
Hope you are coping, I am here via PM too
I hate workmen - they are like a prehistoric breed that haven't evolved into a modern man.
You are right about fags and booze. A bit of booze is OK especially in winter, I hate drinking in summer but the effects can be so unpredictable whenever. I have to be careful when I drink as it can really send me nuts or make me feel fab.
As far as S is concerned. You have done nothing wrong but she seems very screwed up and will be very unpredictable. An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:
