Got woken by them behind, the ones who do the building work in the week Doing some noisy job.
Then I had the screaming kids from 3.45pm to 7.30pm. We could not have our dinner.
I feel cursed - We have had noisy neighbours for 10 years
First place - a flat (top floor)
Parties from overgrown students below
Building work for 4 months non stop well into the evening
Chimney fell on us during the Boxing Day hurricane, then 3 months building work rebuilding it
Husband broke his leg falling down the stairs
Second Place - another top floor flat
Noisy TV below bedroom well into the night
People banging doors and windows so it shakes the building
Building work for 3 months will into the evening.
Barking dogs left outside - I complained when they left it out on Guy Fawkes night
This place - a detached house
Parties from place behind - including in the week, spilling out into their drive - they threaten us when we complain. Their grown up kids do anyway.
Barking dogs left outside to bark at passers by from another neighbour
Screaming kids - literally with parents who don't care about others. Wife looks like a horse lol.
Building work from 2 places
Man who sits in shed right by our place but has loads of other garden to use
I don't know where to go next but we plan to put the place on the market in January. I hope they don't put people off when we have viewings. An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:

Hope everyone is OK
Had a peaceful Saturday but horrible Sunday
Husband and I are getting on (for now)
Our son is a !!!!!!. His clocks haven't been changed. His bathroom and room a disgrace. He really brings me down. He has got the worst selfish attitude. he isn't looking for work. He is at uni full time but his hours are part time. He has no assignments just now. All he does is socialise and feels tired and grumpy as he overdoes it.
When we leave here, I want him to either improve his attitude or get out. Or I will go and live alone.
This is on top of the noise and crap attitudes we have to endure. An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:

CCstar, sorry to hear about your horrid sunday
I'll be about this afternoon if you fancy a chat - tbh I could do with your uplifting advice later.
Fancy leaving our OH's and going it alone together? I'm too scared of spiders to live alone!Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -

I can only sympathise CCStar. Noise really affects me, I feel like a zombie all day if I get disturbed. But try and hang in there hun, January's not too far away. More than likely the people viewing won't be focused on that so fingers crossed you sell it soon xxx4 May 20100 -
Got a busy week this week - going away Friday, can't wait! A weekend away from here! A relative's 50th birthday combined with her family's late 18th, 21st and graduation party.
My husband's half sister will be there and they haven't met. It is controversial, as his father left his family in the lurch 43 years ago. He never returned home from abroad and left them for another woman. His father and the sister's mother are both dead now but there are two children, one girl and one boy, both grown up. Not sure if the son will go. My husband is a bit apprehensive. I said, she is just the child, an innocent person. She is nearer my age than my husband's so may get on with her.
Will clean the house Wednesday
Pedicure and manicure today
Collect our new car tomorrow - if cheque has cleared
When we get back (and got over the travelling) we are going to pack the house ready to sell in the new year!An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:

I would say 70% of my depression is caused by nasty neighbours, and the rest is family and general bad luck, and boy we have had it since May 1997 - we blame Tony Bliar. An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:

Sounds good all your plans, CCStar. Hope your husband does enjoy the party, probably once he's over the initial awkwardness it'll be fine. Enjoy your pedicure and manicure!! :j4 May 20100

I should be around later, don't need to do much cooking as we abandoned our meal yesterday due to the screaming brats. Our son eats with us Mondays and Tuesdays and we have a feast:D
Are you on msn? I can PM my address if you want to chat live
I am wanting to go down south to live. When we sell this place we will downsize and want to get a second home where I want to live! We had two homes before and it was good having the variety.
My fear is chavs and being bullied when alone. The second week I was here, some youngsters hung around outside our house shouting, effing and blinding. I felt really scared. It only happened once but we reckon it was for the last people's benefit. Some very odd things happened in our first year, non neighbour related. But once we introduced ourselves at a local garage with car trouble, it stopped. An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:

Miroslav wrote:Well, today wasn't as bad as last week, but it wasn't great. I can't even get my words out, or let my hair down and have fun.
I so tried.........I'm always going to be like this.
As it happens, I don't think she's over keen on me anymore anyway.
Miro - it's so early days yet, don't you think hun? Probably too soon to be able to tell if she's keen and, anyway, perhaps she herself needs more time? After what she's been through it might take her a while to build up trust and feel comfortable with someone? Just my thoughts as always. Can totally understand how you're feeling though - you want to be there for her, be friends, be relaxed and enjoy each others company. But Miro hun, don't forget - as you admit yourself - you were expecting the worst, but she must want to spend time with you, otherwise she would have cancelled? Go easy on yourself babe. Have a good day x
Where's our Tiffy today? Have you woken up yet hun? I can lend you my zimmer frame if that makes it easier for you to get about:D , but please can you let me have it back as soon as possible, because I need to pop out soon for some more WD40 :rotfl: Hope you're feeling ok today Tiff hun, and big hugs to all you lovely people. Sazzie xxx
