I am going to make an app in a weeks time and ask him to ring them or give me a contact no to find out what has happened and how long i may be waiting.
If the dr has decided that i dont do well on meds then surely i need to be seen quicker!?!?
I know i cant go on like this for much longer or ill pop!

    Hi Simone :)
Sorry I've passed my use-by date hun but got a lot of catching up to do so forgive me if you've already been there and done that.;) Same for everyone. You're in for a treat Simone - your 1st Tiff Chronicles! :D  :rotfl:

Don't give the dr another week angel if you can avoid it- that's another week out of your life.
This applies to everyone who knows they should be making that step but delaying it - you're only delaying your recovery. Even if you've been before, had meds that don't work (there are loads they can prescribe!), didn't get on with Counsellor, by going back you're letting the professionals know you need help. Don't let prior experiences ruin a new chance guys.
You're quite right Simone - and I know it's hard to do - but if you don't get the help you need right away and you're feeling worse, you have to go back until they realise.
There's nothing wrong with saying "Please may I have an URGENT assessment? I'm not coping with this at all - don't know what to do - feel desperate etc." - whichever applies. If you don't like the Pyschiatrist even, you can request a different one if you have good reason. You have to make sure they understand or they can't help you.
Don't know if I told you hun but there's no popping allowed on a Tiff shift!;)
    Much love

I can only sympathise - my upstairs neighbours have had builders in for weeks. They won't be finished all their work for at least another 2 or 3 weeks - I'm just trying to stay sane through it all - it's like inhabiting a nightmare and a building site at the same time! They have at least agreed to make good all the damage they've caused when they've finished. They better had as well or I'll set our Tiffster onto them! :D:D :D

It might do, but he is unlikely to agree to it.
He won't really let me go to conselling alone, so no chance of getting him to go!

    Hi fg :)
Hun, you can go anywhere you want, when you want, He can't stop you going to counselling - not even marriage counselling with say, RELATE that's right hun - you can get marriage xounselling on your own if necessary. You make it sound like he has a lot of control over you angel - time for our fg to take some back. Here for you hun.;)

Luckily we don't have that many work do's, about once a month or so - and thats with some really great guy - we drink and talk about really private things hehe. Its only a couple of minutes till one of us says something totally innappropraite.
Normally, I wouldn't mind - I'm used to go everywhere with him for work, but I just don't really feel up to it. I'm just gonna lay down some rules - he either has to do it totally my way, or I'm not going to help at all. I don't like how I've got to do it all, then he complains or makes last minute changes.
Means we are gonna have to go back home to manchester soon too, he'll want to see everyone before we go :(
    Hi fg :)
It seems that the reason he's so controlling is that he wouldn't be able to function without you hun. He's scared and he's abusing you emotionally to keep you close. You sound like you've got a bit of fg spirit back here hun - hold onto it & follow through.
How does he expect you to be well enough to work if you can't wake up in time to make dr's appointment?! Try giving your phone company a ring & ask them for an alarm call to get you up angel - or ask a neighbour/friend/family to get you up. We must get you the support you need hun - you deserve it.

    Thanks for your replies :)
I'm gonna go back to the docs next week, hopefully tomorrow if I can get an appointment.
Did lots more talking, some of it helped, some of it didn't.
At least he is honest - the reason he doesn't take me seriously is cos of my age.
I can't win - I've got to mother him, but I can't be respected cos I'm too young?
I'm back in fighting mode, I can beat this, with or without his help.
Hope you are all good x
