    Hi everyone:)

    My day yesterday

    Went for a drive yesterday. It was really sunny and pretty warm for mid October.

    The traffic was busy and it makes me jumpy. There are some idiots out there. We had an minor accident on holiday in 1983 and ever since I have been a jumpy passenger.

    We test drove a car yesterday which was nice. Need to think it over. My mum is contributing a certain amount. She bought my son a new car, so only fair I get something too:)

    Went to a distillery and had lots of whisky - we bought a bottle for Christmas. They were taking about whisky to invest. I might post on another board asking about that.

    When we got home the people behind were having a dinner party. Normally, I don't worry but they are the ones with the chavvy 20something aged psycho 'children'. They made some noise when they went out into the courtyard but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be but given their past behaviour, I don't trust them, so couldn't relax till 4am.

    I put a whole chicken in the slow cooker and the meat just fell off. Had fun sieving out all the grotty bits but it made a yummy satay thai curry. Had some free sample pilau rice with it. It was great. Shall have a chicken and mushroom casserole tomorrow. Son eats with us Monday and Tuesday, so like to do nice food for him.

    We saved heaps yesterday. We made cheese olive rolls, had some Lidl shortbread (the best!), and low fat crisps for our packed lunch that we ate in the distillery car park. We still had the taste of whisky in our mouth, so the shortbread was extra yummy in the highland air.

    We tried to eat in our fav Italian restaurant but it was full, so we got some chicken kebabs from a takeaway and cobbled something together at home with it.

    Not eating out paid for the petrol.

    Blimey, talk about busy, I wouldn't do all that in a year :rotfl:

    Well, I'm back :) Wasn't as bad as I thought - 4 major panic attacks but other than that was fine. Well, couple of big rows with OH, but while I was on my own to potter about I loved it - could see myself settling over there - if I could learn German first!

    Things are alright at the moment, I'm feeling quite good. Back on the diet today, stopping my ocd thing, not drinking at all and am trying to stay on top of things. I know that that sounds like too much, but I've gotta do all or nothing. My only vice will be smoking now :)

    Hope everyone is good, you deserve to be :) Had a quick read thru the posts, hope I've not missed anything important.

    Side note, I'm a little upset, but trying not to think about it or worry about it - just feel a bit rejected/let down/not wanted. Understandable, but still hurts.

    :)

    Welcome back. Hope you enjoyed some German sausage!

    Welcome home feelinggood *hugs*

    Feeling quite positive today, the house is tidy and I feel determined to network myself for jobs, not had much luck so far but something has got to come my way soon.

    Took the last of my course of sleeping tablets last night so lets hope I still manage to sleep well, also started my 40mg Citalopram today (up from 20mg) not feeling any side effects yet but probably too early.

    Hope you get no side effects. Never taken medication, so don't know what it's like.

    Hi

    Need to vent

    Effing cars:mad::mad:

    We have an old car, lucky we managed to go out for the day and it was OK but hubby couldn't get it started today and it going to cost more than it is worth.

    We are wanting to get another car but in our own time. Why can't things leave us alone? We have spent enough on the thing already trying to keep it alive as we want 3 cars. We have had it from new and done low mileage, it started costing for repairs 2 years ago but not excessive.

    I just don't want to:mad :mad: :mad:!!!!
    An average day in my life:hello: :eek::mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T :o :rotfl: :rotfl: :p :eek::mad: :beer:
