She liked about 3/4 of the clothes, which was like about 60 items............flatmate literally has a different outfit for every day of the year I'd say, quite easily. She just decided to get rid of some, and 'S' is about the same size. She was delighted apparently, and loves the freeview box, and she's borrowing some CD's from me on Thursday
One thing that annoys me is she gives my flatmate a present everytime she goes around, just for going. She has very little as it is, and so far, it's a bracelet and necklace.
I don't watch horror movies, just don't see the point
only if they can be all about me :rotfl:
well it is good that she liked some of the clothes, and great that you are both helping her out, she sounds like she needs it at the mo, when we are at are most terrible times , we need people around us to help out and support, so well done you. :T
I think 'S' prob wants to show how grateful she is to your flatmate, so she gives her things, as a thankyou, i agree with you tho.
And no i am not one for horrors either i am still getting over one called hostel!!!!BB B*TCH NO 8

Effing cars:mad::mad:
We have an old car, lucky we managed to go out for the day and it was OK but hubby couldn't get it started today and it going to cost more than it is worth.
We are wanting to get another car but in our own time. Why can't things leave us alone? We have spent enough on the thing already trying to keep it alive as we want 3 cars. We have had it from new and done low mileage, it started costing for repairs 2 years ago but not excessive.
I just don't want to:mad  !!!!
Cars are a pain arnt they? not that i know i dont have one :rotfl:
Why dont you get a new car? you could sell your recent one and see what you can get with the cash.
soz im not a great car person
hope it gets sorted tho

Can't say anything more about it because of the nature of the business.
Heard some positive things back from a few other jobs today too so one way or another I hope to have a new job by the end of October
Good Luck for the interview and well done on being positive and getting out to work :T :T :TBB B*TCH NO 8

Oh, okay then........tell me more about yourself, as I have to do research.......leave nothing out now
I hope she appreciates it. She says she does, I mean, she might not really like me.
I'm annoyed she is giving things away. She won't give anything to me, as she doesn't know me, but if she did, i'd be offended!!!
Hostel? I'm still getting over the hostel I was in years back0 -

It's always tough when your boss wants to know, who's wearing deodorant, and who's wearing WD40. At least you aren't creaking anymore0 -
Well, flatmate re-entered my living room at 8pm, after going upstairs around 1.30.
Wish she hadn't!
Always moaningSo we had an arguement, and she used 'S' against me in the arguement, saying the only reason I wasn't agreeing with her, was because I am worried about Thursday and I'm taking it out on her. She always tries to turn the fact she's a lazy !!!! onto me, tells me in great detail what she's done for me, forgetting the fact, that without my help, she'd probably be dead by now.
Why does Miroslav bother?0 -
Miroslav wrote:Why does Miroslav bother?
Because you're a good person, end of story. I could be totally wrong, but I get the feeling your flatmate enjoys being the 'gatekeeper' between you and 'S'. Like a form of power over both of you, that's just my feeling as I say I could be wrong I don't know either of you. Maybe she's a little jealous of your developing relationship with 'S'? Forgive me, just thinking out loud... Sx4 May 20100 -
Tiff wrote:WELCOME TO ROSE'S DAY!
I appreciate Rose because... she is a great example of courage and she is a survivor!
Hi Rosie! Not making light of this next few days, but I thought it was a good idea to give you a reason for still being here and fighting on.;)
I'm so sorry about your Gran hun. It's awful when that sort of thing hits a family. Cancer or not, she's still Gran angel - with the same amount of love for you. Treat Gran as you would have normally. Often, people in terrible circumstances (and don't we all know it?) don't want you to say anything hun - they just want you to listen. They just want to talk. And I think that in between all the physical/emotionl things that she's bound to say, she will tell you just how much you mean to her. She will say things you will appreciate and learn from and you can draw on her strength and courage as she goes through this awful time.
It's so hard to be the audience but by being there and loving her, you're giving her the best medicine. You know you can always come on here for lots of shoulders to cry on. Good luck for today angel - enjoy your time at work - use it to pass time by. We'll all give you all the support we can I'm sure. :A
I didn't get back on here yesterday - sorry - but La Tiff was poorly  - better this a.m. though. I will be back on here later. I wouldn't worry about your throat/cough too much right now angel - anti-biotics can take up to a couple of weeks to get rid of infection. It can also be a sign of anxiety too. Just make sure you finish the course of medicine!
Tiff's off now - I just want you to know that I'm proud of you and that there's always chances for a happy ever after...:j
See you tonight Rosie!:grouphug:
Much Love Tiff xxx
thankyou Tiff for your kind words and support xxx
And i needed that have had a bit of a bad day.:(
Wasnt well this morning, sore tumi, and headache etc...
I had to edit a 25 page document and it took for ages
Then this afternoon hurt me wrist, hand general arm, think I am doing something wrong when i type, my fingers are so stiff, and when you do it for 5/6 hours or whatever it can be sore. Is there a special way to be comfy and relaxed? (As we all know how much i can type :rotfl: )
I feel like i have got this job by default, i overheard my manager talking to another colleague saying how he wanted someone else but they couldnt get a work permit, i felt upset as i felt like i was second best. And dont even know if I am good enough.:(
Then there wasnt much to do in the afternoon so had to keep myself busy.
I cant go on the internet at work, because i work for the government they wont let me on certain sites.
Then in afternoon i got called by my boss to go see my manager, i thought i was in the sh*t, turns out they wanted to know more about a piece of software called quark and photoshop too. they are wanting to move the company on and I am the one who has the 'brains' of these two pieces of software, so the manager wanted to see what i knew and ask me questions on what they could do with it.
Then there was nothing to do again
But made a new friend he is called bob, (he is a spider that sits on me window)(i am terrified of spiders, this is how bored i was this afternoon, lol)
Thanks for your kind words on my gran hun, she isnt very well at the mo, she has scares and things and has to take soo many pills a day just to keep herself going, but she does it.
She is very wise and i when i was talking to her yesterday she was still saying the gran things 'wrap up warm', dont drink when on antibiotic', etc....
(i was telling her about my tonsilitis)
What you have said has got me thinking. . .. .
I am not as close to my gran as i would like, she lives in glasgow on her own, every summer i try and see her, but it is getting hard now.
It makes me sad as i feel like i should be doing more, i try and fly over when i can, and we talk every weekend, and i send her prezzies and things (eg my graduation photo), just to let her know that we are here, but i still feel like i should do more.
I miss my nana soo much, she was my rock, she looked after me when i was little, she taught me alot about life, how to be strong, how to fight, and how to be you, and not let anyone take that away. She was greeat tiff, when she had her stroke, i went to see her almost every day, she was paralysed down her right side i would talk to her and read to her, sing her favourite song. the nurses always said she lit up when i was there. (Im gonna start to cry so better stop).
It means soo much that you were thinking of my early this morning, i was thinking of you too, and to see your message when i got home made me feel like i am not alone at these trying times.
And thanks for the hug, i really needed that
xxx
Are you ok now, feeling better? hope you are
ps: are you any good at massages?:rotfl: I am like a stressed out teddy.
much love hun
