I don't think she's jealous yet, but she does enjoy being the go between, no matter what she says. What she says sticks in both of our heads, so I have to bite my tongue, just incase she goes and to see her in a bad mood.

Hopefully we get to the point where we can just contact each other without having to ask my flatmate if it's too much to say etc etc.

Of course we will do things as a threesome, but I want me and 'S' to be friends in our own right.

I agree that's probably what you need to be working towards, but one day at a time, you will get there.

I don't see why not - just a 'hope you're doing ok' type of thing - I'd appreciate that from a friend if I was having a hard day.
