You head straight for the reduced aisle of the shop :rotfl:
Hehe, that's me. I know where all the reduced items are in all the stores in my area and head there before attempting any more shopping.
My local co-op staff have never seen me buy anything without a reduced sticker on it :rotfl:

You've left the milk outside as it's as cold as the fridge and more economical to run it less full.
It's actually more economical to run your fridge and freezer more full than less full. If you think about it, all the space in the fridge or freezer not occupied by food is occupied by air. As warm air rises, so does cold air fall. When you open the door, the cold air falls out, sucking warmer air in. When you close the door again the fridge or freezer than has to work to extract the heat out of the warmer air.
Your milk will 'retain' the cold whilst the fridge door is open far more than then equivalent air.
Another tip, if you happen to have an upright freezer with a lot of space in, fill up a drawer with newspapers. These will go cold and retain the cold when you open the door to get at the other contents, therefore you lose less cold air when the door is opened and the freezer is more efficient to run.Make £2025 in 2025
