Just dug out a almost new dressing gown that I refused to ware as it was too long and chopped the bottom off - will be waring it now as I can walk up the stairs safely wile carrying a hot drink.If winter comes, can spring be far behind?

Growling everytime i pay full price train fair because I'm waiting for a replacement disability bus pass that someone helped themselves to because I wanted 1cm more room from his big fat !!!...
Ohh and planning my meals meticulously with a blackboard in the kitchen , so that the family can eat out on their own money if they dont like what Im cooking..
Although we on hot and sour soup tonight , no rejections as of yet , pity I was hoping for an extra big bowl.. When your friends phone you before they buy anything, just to check that they have got a good deal!
When you find yourself filling someone else's basket with stardrops yet again after extolling its virtues, then telling them to go and buy microfibre cloths in Poundland as they're cheaper than the supermarket! Then bumping into them in town and being thanked and explaining to your bemuzed ex what you've been up to!
When your children know how to meal plan and check the fridge and cupboards and freezers first before producing a shopping list!
When you change your friend's coins into notes as you can't bear the idea of them tipping them into one of the machines in the supermarket when you could drop them into the bank the next day!

when you do your food shop on-line and realise that most of it is value/basics or ingredients for making your food from scratch type goods with the odd happy chicken/happy pork based product thrown in...
No pizzas, no chips (though I have potato waffles), no crisps, no ready made cakes...

When the kids look for the reduced sticker/check bbdate/ask is it on offer on anything branded that comes into the house.My self & hubby; 2 sons (30 & 26). Hubby also a found daughter (37).
Eldest son has his own house with partner & her 2 children (11 & 10)
Youngest son & fiancé now have own house.
So we’re empty nesters.
Daughter married with 3 boys (12, 9 & 5).
My mother always served up leftovers we never knew what the original meal was. - Tracey Ulman0
