Becca I remember when you got the puppy, I am guessing he'll be loving pulling the children to school :) pity there isn't a phone charger that plugs into the sledge hey :rotfl:
Olliebeak whoopsies here are so expensive they aren't usually worth having, example cereals which went out of date today....on Friday they were 20p off, down to £1.69 you're lucky to get 20-30% off anything

When your partner asks why you have gone out to a shop because you will only buy it online (not inc groceries) if you do it's to a store that when you walk in staff hide because face to face your partner will try to get a better deal and they see profit dripping away :rotfl: but you also had them there an hour after closing because he wanted a better deal.

I understand the grocery spend with advisors etc, when they asked for DPs loan application he had to put their 'minimum' allowance on expenditure for household/grocery spends as ours was half this and system said NO!

We don't have a timer battle on the heating, I just switch it off or turn it down......suprised the buttons have not worn out.

You stop someone when you are at their house and they are FILLING the washing machine drawer with powder and conditioner, pointing out how little can be used and how much better it is on their skin etc too.

Your best friend helps you pack when you move stating she thinks you have a problem after she finds the 9th jar of half price coffe and the 12th of half price pickle and you know she'd never be able to look you in the eye again if she knew there was more in the other cupboard :o :rotfl:
One day I might be more organised...........

Oh my god !!! That describes us so well !!! My 11 yer old is brilliant at shopping with me - we split up and go to the two different reduced sections at Sainsburys the second we get in the store. She also used to be brilliant at Tescos when they had H&B leaflts in strange places...she'd hunt them out with a money saving radar !!

my 8 year old is good for things like that too. she also often comments on the ridiculous prices of things she sees in the shops or ads. i love it when she sees some flashy ad and says 'mum, that product probably isn't really all that great is it? they are just desperate to sell it to you, right?'

she too will tell me she's happy to get whatever it is she's wanting from a charity shop or ebay and that's she's willing to save up her pocket money to buy from these places, never once have i had her say she'd save up to buy from a regular shop... ooh i have tears welling up in my eyes at the thought of it, i'm so proud (well that and i've been using up a mixture of alchohol in the fridge, to keep me warmer :rotfl:)

You are sat in the dark and have the laptop on your knee to keep you warm .

or if you're considering buying a laptop to replace your ailing computer, not because you prefer a laptop (actually really loathe the keyboards and the track pads on the damn things) but because not only are they more economical to run they also warm your lap so efficiently during cold weather! :T:rotfl:

Sad to say sense prevailed, as I didn't want to be hanging around hours for the next train. Maybe I should have told the woman that I had just dropped it and would she mind moving her case so I could retrieve it! :rotfl:

my little trick for picking up coins in situations that might be embarrassing was to bend down and prentend to tie my shoes... if i had slip on shoes i'd bend down and pretend to adjust them or my socks... worked a treat especially when following after local school children as they are the ones most likely to chuck change and also most likely to give you grief if they see you picking it up! ;)

When I feel bad if I have to pay full price for anything!!!!!

i've gotten so bad that i just don't buy anything full price anymore unless it's absolutely positively imperative i do

i also can't go out to eat anymore unless it's super cheap or i have a voucher, both is preferrable, otherwise i can't enjoy my food no matter how good it tastes as i'm thinking how wasteful it is to spend 8 quid on something i could make at home for 1 or 2 quid!
