Sue have been wondering if you heard anything yet, or if they have even paid the CWP's into your account yet?;)
Nope, no monies received or heard anything as yet. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for early next week.We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
Thanks....although have other worries at the moment, fell down the stairs this morning trying to avoid standing on the cat (who was trying to beat me down the stairs) and have torn a whole load of ligaments in my shoulder and done something to my back.
To make it worse, it's my left shoulder and I am left handed...plus my right hand and wrist is already completely beggered by arthritis, so feeling rather sorry for myself tonight. We made it! I checked my postcode and found I was due 4 payments between 1st November 2009 and 8th January 2010, I received one on Friday 8th January 2010 dated 18th December to 24th December. On checking with the D.W.P. on three seperate occasions this week I was given three different pieces of information. 1st phone call, yes Directgov was correct and the D.W.P. were informed by the Met Office of those dates but the payments were late in being processed and to expect two in one week and another a week later. 2nd phone call, that Directgov were giving people the wrong information and the correct first date to expect payments from was 18th December to 24th December. 3rd phone call, that the D.W.P. were not informed by the Met Office that the freezing temperatures started in November in my particular area and that was why no payments were generated before 18th December. In the area where I live it was freezing for quite a while during November and December so who actually has the correct information.0

The November 1st date is just when payments can be made (it says that for everyone), it doesn't mean it WAS cold enough then. I would reckon from what has been said on this thread the 18th December date you were given is probably accurate for when payments started in your area. Be patient for a week or two then chase them up, I'm due 3 only just received my second this week.I checked my postcode and found I was due 4 payments between 1st November 2009 and 8th January 20103rd phone call, that the D.W.P. were not informed by the Met Office that the freezing temperatures started in November in my particular area and that was why no payments were generated before 18th December. the 18th dec was when the first triggers for cpw came up, try ringing income support, dont tell them your due any or cpw dates from the postcode checker or dwp site, just say can you tell me if any cwps were triggered for my area, they should then ask for your postcode and tell you. ive ony ever ran i/s and been told the correct info every time.I checked my postcode and found I was due 4 payments between 1st November 2009 and 8th January 2010, I received one on Friday 8th January 2010 dated 18th December to 24th December. Probably because when you ring them up they're just entering your postcode into the same directgov tracker everyone else can use to check.0

wrong, because they even had the ability to tell me what the nearest town was to me to get the last trigger and that doesnt come under my postcode its 16 miles away.ChishyChoshy wrote: »Probably because when you ring them up they're just entering your postcode into the same directgov tracker everyone else can use to check.0
