Lol, I posted about my BDC getting the scan earlier on in the week too.....still nowt in my account though, wonder if Di's went in as promised.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

  • I have a child under 5 and I have not received any cold weather payment - according to the postcode checker we have had at least 2 periods of cold weather that makes us eligible.

How do I get the money???

  • I'm back again! Now says 3 payments are due so yet again I've been phoning different people all morning. Finally got through to someone who was helpful. She looked on the system and there's nothing for my area so i told her on the postcode checker it says I'm due 3 payments. She's now on the phone to the benefit delivery office seeing if they know anything and she's gonna phone me back so at least I'm having a bit more luck than i did yesterday!
  • I'm recieving income based job seekers allowance and i've checked my postcode and i've not had any payments for cold weather so far either...

going to phone JSA office shortly, to see whats what !!
  • Both my husband and I are in receipt of DLA. Does this mean we are entitled to the cold weather payments ( not the one for over 60s) or not.
