Thanks Lou76!! Totally agree it would be easier/cheaper to pay direct into bank account; especially as Postman Pat is snowed in!! Lol!!

    P.S. Who's Geoff??

"Geoff's" the number all of us sexually frustrated, housebound, girls call when we need a lift of a day. That voice...

Joking aside, Geoff's a fellow poster (I'm guessing he's more prolific on the 'other' CWP thread, I cannae keep up lol) who seems to have the "gift of the gab" when it comes to getting any information, over the phone, on CWP triggers and payment days. :D

Are these payments made separately or with the pension credit payment?.

    They are usually seperate payments.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

What benefits do you get? You need to phone your BDC, so if you get IS you phone and ask IS.
income based jsa and have a child under 5
  • We qualify for cold weather payment, by 3 of the listings, but have not received a penny yet.
  • I have a child that turned 5 at end of November, my husband is earning less than £10k pa on a self employment basis so doesn't claim JSA. We do get Housing benefit though. Our postcode is 2 payments. Are we eligible for any payments?

At the moment the only group of benefit claimants who are having problems getting an automatic payment of CWP are
IS (Income support) and CTC (child tax credits) with a disability premium/severe disability premium.
